I couldn't figure it out then I remembered - I'm a woman with short hair wearing a baseball cap. The horror! What if I was a Trans?!?! They had so many wonderful books and they were very well organized. The manager saw how many books I was buying (ended up being 68) and gave me a price break. Instead of $1.50 per hardback book he only charged me $1.25. It was greatly appreciated. I also bought a big picture that was on display at the front of the store. The store seemed to be well organized. I didn't really look at the clothes since I was looking for books. But I will be back. The employees were super friendly. I was greeted by several different employees. Great experience. And I love that the money they take in supports the Muncie Mission.

We were passing through town on our way home and spotted the antique store. It looked like a very…read morenice and well stocked antique store. We did a U - turn and we were able to find a parking spot right in front of the store. We received a friendly greeting as we walked in and had a lot of fun looking through the very well stocked store. We had limited time so we only made one pass through but I'm sure we missed lots of goodies. It's one of those stores that requires several passes to take everything in. I spotted a wooden statue (I included a picture) that I thought was charming and so he now resides in my home. The store owner was very nice and helpful and I look forward to stopping in again. I was impressed with the high quality of items, gathered in orderly fashion, that I found here. They aren't a large shop, especially compared to some other "antique" places that are more flea market than vintage and antique. But I was pleased that these items were more appealing without having to spend a lot of time sorting through endless booths. I was greeted as I entered and had no difficulty finding free street parking nearby. Note that the prices here aren't the cheapest either. But I attribute that to the pieces being of solid quality and having to cover the cost of running a shop in the downtown area. This was fun crawling around on the floor and digging through the clothes. I ended up finding two bags worth. I got there about fifteen minutes after they opened. I had been in prior to this sale. I remember they had a lot of smaller sizes and I could not really wear them at that point. The price point is not bad and although it says it is a vintage shop some of the items are newer and not really vintage. I am sure I will stop in again to check them out.
