I love shopping at this Goodwill. The racks are well organized and the employees are friendly. The selection is good and the prices are fair. I always leave with some great finds. Each week they have a color of the week and those items are 50% off. Wednesday is senior day and if you are 55 or over you can save 30%. Sign up for a rewards account. Once you spend $125 you will become a VIP member and you get 10% off every time your purchase is over $20. So many ways to save. Goodwill north in Muncie, IN. Located on W Hessler RD 47304. They have a tall slender black woman with short hair, her name is believed to be Bobbi? (cashiers never have their own registers). Bobbi is working as an employee here but giving the most unpleasant and unprofessional experiences to customers.. The entire time I was in this store she was yelling, throwing things at customers, making people uncomfortable, being rude and obnoxious towards everyone shopping. I got my things and left to check out because of her behavior. she sadly was my cashier, I walked up started taking my hangers out (to make her life easier, sometimes a good customer can change your mood ya know?.) she got crappy with me for taking them off the clothes I picked off the hangers . I didn't say anything at all, just sat them down, she then tried to put in rewards and the computer was slow, which pissed her off. Then when I gave her my gift card she threw it back at me about 4 times (she couldn't get it to scan because she was doing something wrong.), Since she couldn't get it to scan she was refusing to use it, so I asked for a manager because I just got it and hadn't even left the store yet and I had a receipt proving the gift card had funds, she then started cussing and threatening to fight me for the gift card not working & asking for a manager. She then followed me outside to try to assault me,screaming slander, being very hostile. She also admitted she was stealing clothes and wearing them without paying. (No wonder prices went up, your own employees steal donations).. I did absolutely nothing but try to resolve the issue until she tried to punch me, so I called her a bitch. I admit I shouldn't have done said that, but she was treating me poorly , harassing and trying to assault me and refusing management. And doing so to multiple other customers, who then left not buying anything. Management on duty did absolutely nothing, she was screaming loud enough the entire store was watching and management never came.. She refused to give me my receipt after i had paid also. If you want to check the camera footage of this is at 1:00pm on 4/9/25 Someone like this should never work in customer service. Never had anything like this happen before. I'm shook, disappointed and will never go back if she is working for you. I spend a lot of money at the south side location in Muncie on E 29th & NEVER have issues. Much too expensive for poor families. I think Goodwill has forgotten that they are a thrift store to help people who are in need. I get the funds go to help programs, but poor people still need work clothes. They could charge so much less, but they won't. Until they come to the realization that they can actually help people, I will tell everyone that wants to listen to not go there. read more

I bought a antique stackable bookcase and when I came back to pick up it was gone! The woman incharge was rude and only wanted to give me a refund! What happened to my bookcase!! When I told her I would get a attorney she said that was a threat? When I came to pick up I was told to go to the back and came through the back to help. When I left the woman hollered I could not go through the back. I started walking to the front of the store and she blocked the back door and started hollering I couldn't go through, I was all Ready going to the front to walk around to get my car!! I'm a disabled veteran with a car sticker made to walk around the building to get my car? All this because I want my bookcase!!! This building is a lot newer than many Goodwills in the area, but other than that it's just a typical Goodwill. I frequent thrift stores; I'm quite the bargain shopper! I mostly find clothing at this particular Goodwill, but every once in a while you'll get some other good finds! read more
