The store very clean, well organized, and well lit. I can tell they put a lot of care into the store and their displays. the parking lot is very easy to get in and out of depending which way you are traveling - I would just say be cautious turning left out of the lot during peak times, as it's on a busy Street. There are several Boutique time items in the shop that are new with tags. they aren't brands that you would necessarily be familiar with oh, but it's nice to be able to buy items that have never been worn. My husband and I donated furniture here, and someone pick it up for us, which was a tremendous help. We just had to call and schedule a time. My big critique is the pricing. First of all, I didn't see any notice of tag sales, which I believe is a staple of thrift stores. Second of all, the pricing seem to be more than what I would see at comparable thrift stores, even Goodwill, which tends to be priced high. The pricing seems to be somewhere in between thrift and consignment prices. I did find a couple of pieces last time I was here and bought them, but I paid probably 30% more than what I would have paid elsewhere. I love the cause that this store support, and I'm happy to give them my business, but I won't shop there as often as much as I shop at other stores just because of the pricing.

There's at least one accident a day at that and right in that area. There's a center islands right there on 14th St. there is an exit and an entryway right there to the highway in whack travel which is the community college Sam's Club travel right there. Lots of huge trucks for some reason that are driving from the east to the west are in that intersection all the time, but the store is very new and improved high-quality items. They never had anything that high-quality in the other store for some reason much better selection of items and they really try to keep the store really clean. I see at least one person cleaning all the time when I'm in there it's very well organized. Some of the shirts even are organized into color coding. I think the blankets are also blankets and comforters are also color-coded last time I was in there and they have all the dishware in one area then they have all the furniture and home items kind of on the back wall like pictures and and frames and that kind of thing electronics are also on the back wall. I think there's certain electronics that cannot take. For example, I tried to donate my printer the other day they did not take that. All in all this new location of Goodwill is well worth your time! I will admit and all my thrift team of all over the area. Goodwill has the highest prices, but even even so, it is worth the effort since the amount of high value items in the store well out way the slightly higher prices than for example, helping hands. Goodwill may have to follow their corporate's pricing, which may definitely not be from this area, noting that the standard of living in this area is much lower than many other areas of the country helping hands is much a much better reasonably priced thrift store, but for the amount of high-quality items that they have at Goodwill now it's worth my time to go in and at least browse to see what they have at the moment. I've seen they have a really good selection of designer brands of clothing. Browsing the kitchenware area I found a KitchenAid brand blender bowl to go with my blender at home. I priced it at like $65 so and I got it for around five dollars, so that's a pretty we're gonna get the steamer good deal!!

But after claiming my package - some cables for the Sprinter van - I took the time to look around this interesting shop. This isn't IKEA furniture. This isn't cheap stuff from some furniture supercenter. This is quality stuff that definitely looks like it will last. Arm chairs, sofas, grandfather clocks, dining tables, dressers, rolltop desks. Lots of interesting pieces and while none of it would work in my van, it was interesting to see. Yes, prices are higher than they would be at IKEA. It's solid furniture. They have a small gravel parking lot, but I've never had any issue getting in or out. Before you walk in, there are some bargain baskets outside - this week, they had t-shirts for 25 cents, picture frames for 50 cents, and pairs of socks for 15 cents, for example. Clothes and shoes take up the majority of the store, but they also have dolls, china, appliances, books, toys, and more. They make sure that all of their appliances work before putting them on the floor. Their adult clothing is more geared toward an aging crowd, I think, but I've gotten several great quality finds. Their standard pricing is about middle of the road for thrift shops, but they ALWAYS have deals running there so you can get a lot of bang for your buck. This week, pants and summer tops were half off. They've scheduled doll sales and linen sales. What makes NMC Auxiliary Thrift so special is that the volunteers there are wonderful. They're always so delighted with my finds, and you can tell that they love volunteering.

The owner was super helpful and spent quite a lot of time explaining to my friend and I how to tell the difference between a designer handbag and a fake handbag. The first trip I found a wonderful, almost new Eileen Fisher jacket that is now my favorite thing to wear (so many complements) and a super soft, high end loungewear set that has been perfect for chilly spring nights. This past week I found a gorgeous blue dress that fits great (hard to do) and a lightweight black blazer, both of which are great for travel. A lot of us are fluffier since Covid so having a place where you can find high-end clothes that fit well is amazing, and the fact that it is also an honest consignment store is a dream come true. Torrid, Loft, Lane Bryant, Dillard's and Nordstrom sweaters, jackets, dress pants, athletic wear, so many items with tags still on them. I took Stella and Dot jewelry in the boxes and Clark's and Sperry shoes, new in box snow boots, winter boots, and coach sunglasses. I had submitted only new, never worn or no sign of wear items. My sister had also donated, under her own account, loft, lularoe, torrid, Dillard's,, boutique, and Ann Taylor, Sperry,, etc. Fast forward to January when my sister pops in to collect our sales. Nothing. The woman who waited on her said neither one of us had $1.00. Zero balance they said. So you are telling me that absolutely nothing , none of the new with tags, name brand, never worn items sold in this store full of worn, out of style, Walmart branded items?? There is absolutely no way I believe this because I'm very much aware of the junk they have their store filled with and no that comparatively our nice items would have had no problem selling.
