This store is not ADA friendly. The place is organized yet sparce. What the employees do not tell you is that there is another part of the store out a door and up the stairs, not accessible if you are in a wheelchair. When we first arrived, I was near the check out looking at jewelry and overheard an employee complaining that she could not park in the handicap spaces. When my husband checked out he found that someone had parked across the lines next to our van and when he returned to the store to ask the owner to move their car he was met with attitude by the employees. The lady that had parked next to our van was the employee I heard complaining earlier. She followed us out to move her car and impatiently waited while he loaded my wheelchair so she could have the space we were in. She did have a handicap placard, however it was a van accessible spot and she acted as though we were wrong for parking there in our van which has a ramp for my wheelchair. We have shopped at this shop before and have always returned when in town until now. The attitude of the the employees and the inaccessible portion of the store has made me not want to go back. read more

Kim and Peaches were amazing! The store was busy and yet they had time for everyone while making great coffee. They help me find the books. I wanted while taking care of everybody else and helped my wife find the cold-weather clothes she needed will be boosters of this great part of Motorcycle, heaven, Eureka Springs Arkansas. They knew the best places to get black. Peach cobbler and find a reasonably priced motel for the night, and I have the answers for every question 16 people ask them, all the time with the grace and humility, that only the finest human beings have. This is not even talking about the facility, which is supporting an animal shelter, a "no kill animal shelter!" In very short order, my wife had the comfortable clothes she needed, and I had filled up my entire collection of John Grisham novels because they had every one I didn't have since John Grisham the fabulous writer is a local man. Both Kim and Peaches, understood exactly what I wanted for a road trip Pointing me directly to video courses on enjoying opera and being a better manager and provided their help without breaking a sweat while helping other people at the same time. Peaches And Kim were excellent and everybody else in this marvelous, immaculately, clean facility or just as nice. Some other patrons and myself were peppering them with questions about the Eureka Springs area from where to buy the best peach and blackberry cobbler to finding a less expensive place to spend the night of the week. These two incredible women helped everybody and kept their coffee cups full ( one dollar per cup). And to top it off, they have local honey in this thrift store that is exquisite. My thanks to both of you and this incredible facility. You are the epitome of the wonderful hospitality the Ozark mountains are so famous for. Great job you too! We will be back. All the people working in this store are extremely kind and helpful, especially, Kim, Julie and Mandy - and I always leave feeling better and uplifted. Not only do we come here to drink their coffee (delicious by-the-way) and to use the free WiFi, but we have bought MANY things, i.e. clothing, furniture, houseware stuff and have stocked our new house from the great "finds" we've discovered here. This is a one of a kind thrift store that seems more like a big home with lots of beautiful things filled with my family. read more

I love coming in here! The staff is always helpful but not intrusive, the prices are higher than most thrift stores but so is the quality of items. I also like that it supports a mission that improves this community drastically especially for the often over looked homeless and impoverished who can't afford urgent health care. I have bought designer bags, vintage/antique housewares, books of alllll kinds, and even furniture and sewing patterns. The store is huge and has a lot of wonderful donors so it can feel a bit chaotic sometimes but I have never had trouble finding a worker to ask where I might find an item. I can't recommend them enough, they are GEM in this little quirky town. They aren't your city thrift stores but neither is Eureka as a whole. Check them out, you might just find a gem! read more

I recently visited Echo Thrift Store. Every time I go there, the store is better. Many improvements to make my shopping experience enjoyable. The merchandise is displayed in away that helps me find what I'm looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. My husband found a gold mine when it came to books. The store is very well organized. The prices are great. Especially since most thrift stores have started price gouging. This one didn't seem to except for a few items. They have a cute little self serve coffee area that says it's only $1. Most things were pretty dated and it definitely smelled musty. Most thrift stores do though. My biggest problem was the customer service by a young employee. When I had to ask a question about the price of the books she told me they were individually priced on the 1st page. When I told her we picked a few that didn't have a price she kind of got an attitude and said she would give us to price when we were ready to check out. All the books had colored dots on them so I thought maybe it was priced by what color the dot was, but apparently not. Then I heard her speaking to an elderly lady and I thought her tone was rude to her also. When it was time for us to check out I was thinking maybe she was having a bad day so I just tried to be friendly and tried to be understanding. Then I asked for a receipt and she said - we don't normally give out receipts for cash but I guess I can write you one if you want one. I told her yes I'd like one. She got the old school receipt pad and wrote me one but was clearly not happy about it. When we got to the car my husband even said something about her attitude. He never notices stuff like that. While I was traveling through Eureka Springs, I saw this Thrift store pop up on the highway. I thought to my self why not, so I pulled into the parking lot. I walked into the thrift store and the first thing I noticed was how it was disorganized and it was hard to figure out what section I was standing in. The only redeeming aspect of the thrift store was you could find some unique books,movies and the exit. I was not impressed with the store, I was never greeted by anyone when I walked in and while I was leaving the store I felt like I was being judged by the employee whine the counter. read more

I'm very puzzled about the other review mentioning $100+ for a pair of shoes. Perhaps this store had some very high-end shoes donated at some point, but on my visit it wasn't anything like that, most items I looked at were priced at typical low thrift prices except for a couple of valuable collectibles (like an antique Kewpie doll). It was extremely well-organized from top to bottom and prices were clearly marked. Also, it's pretty clean for a thrift shop. A religious-based organization runs this shop but they also have an adjacent free clinic - an admirable charity I am pleased to support. read more

This place just ripped me off!!!!!!!!!!!!! Danielle Sold me a fake RADO WATCH FOR 175 bucks. When I found out that it was FAKE. THEY SAID THAT THEY GOT THERE Jeweler and two jewelry stores said it was real. Not to mention the clerk Donna it's an original. And it was an 800$ watch brand new!!! It's not and its all lies. I'm not sure why the person said they sold a pair of shoes there for $100. I went all over the store and everything was priced cheap. I got some extremely expensive jeans and shirts for just $3.00 a piece. All of their shoes were cheap. I imagine the person that saw the shoes thought the price was $100 instead of what the price actually was, $1.00. A lot of their shoes were priced $1.00 up to $5.00 for the most expensive brands.
