I did message Resale on Facebook, but they decided ignoring me was the professional thing to do. Keep an eye on those receipts. I suspect this happens a lot. Especially on Wednesday's when they have their 20 percent off sale, which is the day this happened to me. I love what this place does for animals, but don't love being ripped off. The volunteers/workers are really rude here anyway, so honestly, I'm not shocked they ripped me off and ignored me. If I ever go back, I'll definitely be adding up my purchases before I get to the checkout.

St.Margarets house is a place of refuge verses being a shelter. Where woman and their children can go to receive services: counciling, clothes, warm meals and other needed resources to enhance their quality of life. They also host and participate in community events geared towards their cause. St.Margaret's house also accepts a variety of donations from whoever has a willing heart to give. I usually donate any unneeded belongings that I have to them knowing someone will benefit. They are a very useful resource to the community and whether you're a woman in need or have items to donate it's a nice place to go.

Liked this Goodwill store. They have convenient hours for drop off, and even open an hour early…read morejust for that. Don't know about inside or managers or floor people since we did not use that, but for drop off of donations this is easy-peasy. Nice people and they do all the work for you. Maybe give this place a try and don't discredit it for one bad review. Recommended...and they do good work.

The Manager that I had direct dealings with today displayed bad judgment, questionable ethics and poor customer service. I had a item in my cart and on way to cash out the Mgr walked over and took the item out of my cart she said "it belonged to someone else". The item as well as another item I purchased were sitting next to each other in the furniture section. It clearly did not belong to anyone as it was sitting out on the sales floor. I took a good look both items to ensure the condition, looked at the price that was unbelievably low, had to look twice and put it in the cart and proceeded to look through 2 other sections of the store prior to walking to the register. During this time no other person was in the area. I understand that you get what you pay for and obviously the good that Goodwill may offer as employment opportunities however when it comes to making choices the person in charge of the store sets a horrible example. It seemed to me that the customer who she gave it to (who had 2 overflowing carts) knew the Manager. I didn't put up a argument only stated to both of the people the manager and the fellow customer that they both knew that this situation was not right and they knew it. I cashed out with a kind young lady maybe in high school student or a young adult. For me this experience was not about the 2.99 item it was the situation of what seemed to be a price fixing for a specific customer or at minimum poor leadership. If the manager in charge of store 28 in Granger Indiana tonight is your responsibility she could use some coaching and I'd check your profit margins. I shared this experience with someone and the feedback was "what do you expect it's Goodwill".
