Currently, the owners are bringing out items from an estate sale. I talked with the owner and learned that there is a Facebook page. Items are posted regularly for shoppers to comment "sold," then pick up and purchase in the next few days before it is returned to inventory. Part museum-like or like walking into my elderly parents' home, I enjoyed looking around. A lot of items are newer, so they're usable or wearable. Many items are for display or for your collective passion. Inventory depends are items the owners find. I purchased new scarves/gloves, pair of new shoes, a few rag rugs that washed nicely, and a Snow Baby figurine. There was a large collection of them. Shipping with postage is available. The shop is handicapped accessible, and a parking spot is at the door. If you're into resale, check it out.

All the stuff seems to be the same and I was hoping for some regional differences in merchandise. I'm a regular shopper at Michael's especially since A) Joann Fabrics has closed and B) I hate hobby lobby and only shop there if I absolutely have no other choice. This location is extremely well stocked, full of awesome stuff and very busy. They have the usual fanfare of crafting stuff, but for some reason it really was a more than pleasant time here for my shopping needs. Stores very clean and organized, stuff is mostly easy to locate and they have decent coupons if you look online before you go. Micheals are usually in good working order, but whomever is running this store clearly does an amazing job of keeping it together. I like that they have the self checkout kiosks because, like today, I just had a few sheets of paper and probably could have checked myself out but stood in line because it was hot and I was tired. Overall fantastic experience. One of the best Micheals I've been to in a long time!

One of the managers Dan was just amazing and made sure to measure all the kids. He even sat and chatted with the youngest while we found shoes for the oldest. We also bought some $10 dress shoes for two of the kids. Definitely will be back when I need shoes for myself!!!

Best part is that it's not like the other overpopulated outdoor malls and i get to enjoy the simple life of 90 degrees saturday afternoon. I fully understand this is absolutely hit or miss depending on the day, but even with 30mph wind that's about to blow my hat away, i'm still lovin' it. Other yelpers are right tho. We could use some more diverse shops. :-)

It's a long drive from my home so I visit this quilt shop only once a year when I carpool with…read morefriends to attend the Sauder Village quilt show during the first week of May each year. The shop shares a large building with a historical museum. The little village that surrounds the quilt shop is very scenic, with beautiful gardens and cute little shops. There are old time, down home country cooking type restaurants on site, so you can get lunch before you head home. One is a sit-down restaurant outside the village, another is a cafeteria inside the village. Threads of Tradition has a lot of notions, single quilt patterns, pattern books and--of course--fabric of all genres, from historical reproductions all the way up to modern. The prices on the fabric were usually very, very good in the past. They seemed lower than my area of Michigan. I used to wonder how they could do it, and figured it was due to a high volume of shoppers. Now that cotton prices are through the roof, it's hard to gauge. The prices seemed to be actually a bit higher than the shops I frequent in Michigan. At Threads of Tradition, fat quarters were priced at $3.25 today, while they're $2.75 in my part of Michigan. Still worth a visit.

Our first stop was Baldy's Furniture in Wauseon, OH. We were greeted when we walked in, allowed to explore the store with no pressure. While we tried different mattresses, a salesman checked on us, not too often, not too little, then when we made out decision, our salesman was nearby, easy to find and we completed our transaction. We had the mattress delivered a few days later. On the day morning the mattress was to be delivered, I received a call that they were short a deliveryman, so my mattress would be delivered in the afternoon. The caller was relieved I was not upset, (I know things happen), and apologetic. Early that afternoon, I received a call they were on their way and would be there in half an hour. They were right on time. Good Customer Service, GOOD communication, good quality furniture and a very fair price. I HIGHLY recommend Baldy's Furniture!

This place is a delight…read more I stopped in fully expecting some sort of tacky craft store. Um no. I left with a gorgeous key chain, 3 sweaters, and a coat. This shop has assembled tons of amazing makers, and their stuff ranges from rustic, boho, and even some local school spirit items. I love it! Highly recommend you check it out yourself!
