I don't usually shop at thrift stores, but lately I've stopped by different ones just to see what books are available. Some days I have good finds, other days I get nada. I was in the area today and had some donations I've been meaning to drop off to a thrift store but kept putting it off. Found the closest thrift store and this location popped up. Funny enough when I drove up, I knew exactly where this was because I actually shop next-door at Kimchi Mart in the Hollywood location. I prefer Goodwill over Salvation Army because there's so much more organized and it's easier to find things here. They also have some pretty good books elections as well. The books range in pricing where the hardbacks can cost $2 and paperbacks cost $1. Can you step in a Goodwill, you can't help but notice they are usually on par with holiday decorations by the front area. They had a good selection of Halloween items. When you walk into a Goodwill store, you'll notice his sign that says certain price tag colors are 50% for the specific day. For instance, today was green price tags at 50% off. Pretty cool that they do that. read more

I am so pleased with my local Goodwill! Always clean and organized, I enjoy browsing the aisles here. My favorite is the book section, where they only cost $1! I also enjoy the kitchenware. I recently purchased French onion soup crocs with matching lids for only $3 a piece. Of course, there are tons of clothes to hunt through. My best find has been a pair of brand new Steve Madden sandals. The register is always staffed, and they send an extra person if the line starts to get long. I have purchased from here for years, but I'm really aggravated and won't be coming back after this last time. I checked out and the cashier told me the total, which was an even dollar amount. I ran my card and then when I looked at the receipt, she had rounded up to the next dollar amount and did not even ask me if I wanted to donate!! I immediately brought it to her attention because she didn't ask me, and the purchase was for work so I'm not permitted to donate on behalf of the company. It's wrong for a cashier to arbitrarily add a donation without asking. I find this shocking. For all she knows, I'm struggling and every penny counts. She shouldn't spend people's money without asking permission. Disgusting. read more

Hit or miss but that's to be expected in a thrift store. The staff are friendly. You can find some great deals here on household items, kitchenware, clothing, etc but check for damage and check the prices. Some items here (used items) are priced higher than they are brand new. Still fun to shop here & score some great finds. read more

For instance this store has really cool blue ring lights on their poles. The superstores have more contemporary designs and modern display fixtures designed to raise the bar in the thrift market. I was impressed with how large and clean this store is. Everything was arranged by color like on The Home Edit. The furniture area was small but they had several shelves of bric-a-brac which is my very favorite area to browse in. Racks were neatly organized and they even had some brand new items for sale. This is the best, cleanest, and most organized Goodwill that I have ever seen. There is a wide variety of clothes and sizes from infant on up. Great looking shoes and handbags. I stopped by for some athletic shorts for my kids and was pleasantly surprised. I found several things I liked as well. There was a good selection of kitchen appliances, and plates and glasses. Everything is organized and far from stuffed and cluttered. The good with the bad...to have a nice store, you can't have everything. There is some furniture, good condition. I tried to donate a baby gate and they said no. They accepted the clothes and sheets. Many people working and organized. Cleanest drop off I've seen at a Goodwill. read more

We were coming back from lunch at Tark's and passed this place on the way to I95. Since I'm still searching for my replacement coffee mugs, we decided to stop by. Here, too, as at another Goodwill store we'd been to recently, they checked our temps at the door before being allowed to enter. We were welcomed in a friendly manner on entering. They also had a big bottle of hand sanitizer available for use. I headed right to the bric a brac area. This store had a larger number of shelves devoted to glassware, China, housewares, accessories, etc than the couple similar stores I've been in recently. That was nice to know -- to have a bigger selection of which to browse. Unfortunately, they did not have any of the mugs that I was looking for. They did have some pretty decorated water/wine pitchers, though. But I resisted and didn't buy them. Their furniture section is minuscule here. So don't come to this particular Goodwill if that's what you need. Their racks in their clothing section are neat and large, however. In general, All items are quite well organized here. There is ample parking in their private lot in front of the store. It's easy access from Sheridan Street and the store is not too far from I95. read more

I have been to this location several times to donate stuff I no longer have a need for. Notice in town most drop off places are gone. This place at least you know your things will get another life and a good home. As most people have been Spring cleaning while locked up for Covid 19 so too was I. Therefore I stopped here to drop off. I went in the front door first to check out if they are receiving donations. They are you just need to drive around back now. No problem I get back in my car park in the back and pop open the trunk. A nice man who works here directed me to which bin to leave my clothes. I asked if they take books and they do so left them as well. Since the virus is not over I am sure I will be continuing to clean and will be back again very soon. read more

I've been stopping at this location for almost 10 years sporadically when my beach t-shirt supply becomes low(however THAT happens) and am more often than not quite pleased with the selection. Quite a few name brands varying in price ($1-$6 normally) in equally varied condition. Staff is friendly for the most part and the store is generally organized well enough allowing one to locate items grouped via categories- yet some "digging" is definitely required to see individual items. Don't forget to check every item throughly for existing imperfections so you aren't surprised or disappointed when arriving home. *I'm gonna pop some tags, only got $20 in my pocket. I-I-I'm hunting looking for a come up, this is freaking awesome* Yeah, I quoted the hook from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' song "Thrift Shop". Thought it would be an appropriate opening for the review. I came in this Goodwill store looking for some t-shirts. The store is neatly organized with various clothing for women, men, and children; shoes, housewares, toys, and books. When it comes to clothes, I have to take my time and thoroughly look through them because there are some items that looks a bit worn out. Rarely I would find some items that are in very good condition that it looks brand new. The prices are inexpensive and the employees are pleasant. On certain days, there would be 50% off the items depending on what color tags are on them. There are dressing rooms provided if you need to try on the clothes. I can't wait to return to see what else I could find. read more

The staff are helpful with loading off the donations and the items in the store are well priced and they even have rare finds.

Although you can still find a interesting item occasionally, the selection and quality at this location has consistently gone down while the prices has consistently increased. Its clear that any quality clothing items do not make it to the sales floor because they are sold online or to another entity. On the sales floor you will find an endless selection of very low quality, cheap, worn out junk. The rare vintage piece is overpriced and / or ripped, stained or just plain worn out. Goodwill is a greedy corporation masquerading as a worthwhile charity. There are tons of pickers still shopping , but recently the prices have gone way up and they will lose that business as now it is not possible to make a profit reselling the mid range stuff they have. Their " charity" is a farce, they get tax breaks and god knows how much government dollars to hire disadvantaged or other challenged folks to work for very low wages running there profit machines . This is not a charity or a benefit to anyone but the millionaires and billionaires that run it. Its a racket . read more

I haven't thrifted much in this area so I'm not to familiar with prices BUT I did go to the other Goodwill closer to this. One they don't have any baskets or carts so you have to walk around carrying your items or ask the front if you could keep it up there. Two the prices are so expensive, I even cam across some glassware that was from the Dollar Tree and was priced at $2. Blouses are $4.00 doesn't matter if it looks nice or worn out. Pants I believe are $5 didn't really look at the clothing too well but I think it's over priced for some clothes. Furniture are $50 and up. There was a ragged looking dresser there for $60 I saw a glass table for $100. It's crazy to think how inflated those prices are. Three the staff here are a bit rude and seem to hate their jobs. I saw a lady who was putting breakables on the rack drop items on the floor and continue to place them on the shelf knowing they were chipped and broken. They don't wipe the items down before displaying them so there's that too. Now comparing prices between the two goodwills I would prefer to go to the other one since they seem to be priced well over there. Now now did this Goodwill earn the 2 stars. Well there was one older lady who was putting clothes away who was helpful a bit grumpy. I like asking the gentlemen working there for questions they are nicer and you get your questions answer or they will suggest alternate options. Organized area, they carry more clothing here and it was nice to see the color scheme when looking for clothing. This is where it ends. Always ready to help with donations. Very courteous staff around back. I lost something I donated by accident because it was in the car. Ladies were so helpful and searched with me. Electronic donation tablet is usually working. Not all staff know how it works. This is a drawback. I find the location very easy to unload and someone is always there to great me with a smile. read more

Prices are high and to add insult to injury a dress that had 2 small stains they weren't willing to reduce price they rather throw it out than to cut a deal & of course they don't have bags for the items you purchased so you carry your stuff in your hands. Due to the generally poorer area this goodwill has very little to offer in terms of interesting finds... what little quality goods they get to begin with get picked over immediately. Good for china and glassware, but it's all broken up picture frames in home goods, and 70s alarm clocks and VCRs in electronics. Always smells like musty butthole in there too, but that's to be expected I guess since it's mostly clothing. read more

We were looking for a picture frame to refurbish for a bridal shower. And lone and behold, sitting in the corner was the perfect 16x20 inch frame. Unfortunately it had this ghastly picture inside, but for $20, it couldn't be beat. We just took out the old pic and it was perfect. I've been coming here for about 4-5 Years now and still had no problems whatsoever. Though the area is not convenient for me at night because of Traffic it's always worth it. I end up spending 40-60 Dollars here each time I go. They never disappointed me with there clothes, accessories, Toys and Jewelry. By far the best one I've been too.
