Like most peddler's malls (or as they used to be called, flea markets), they're a large space in an old shopping center (where the local Sears used to be) that's been converted into a display space for many businesses different booths by local people selling various things. It's a big, motley mix of things. Vintage clothing. Furniture. Home decor. DVD's and old paperback books. Toys. Small appliances. Jams, jellies, and preserves made by the Amish or other local small businesses. It's definitely worth browsing around to see if they have anything you might like.

They give you a free box lunch, a presentation of their programs, and a brief tour of the warehouse. I had been to God's Pantry before to volunteer, but this presentation really opened my eyes to everything that they are able to accomplish and how they work to supply faith based and other partner agencies in 50 counties. They feed 200,000 people a year. For every $1 you donate, they are able to distribute 8 meals. With only 50 full time employees, I am very impressed with how efficient this organization is. It was also very interesting to find out where all of the food comes from, for example our local Kroger and Walmart donates bread, meat, and other items that can be frozen on their sell by date. God's Pantry is also committed to giving out healthy foods-their goal is 1/3 fresh produce. However she was the most helpful lovely person ive ever dealt with and if she didnt know she was honest and called another employee to answer my question which was very helpful of her. This is where the man came in I believe his name was Joe or Jim I dont remember However this man made me feel incredibly stupid for asking questions im here to learn what the best route for my remodel would be. Proprietor Beth Ann Glassford Haydon and her team did an outstanding job helping my elderly parents move out of their Lexington home of forty years. This was no simple move -- my parents were moving abroad, my siblings and I all live out-of-state so we couldn't be there in person to manage the move, and my father was extremely resistant to letting go of any of his possessions. We were feeling overwhelmed by the task, but my wife stumbled across a Bluegrass Moving Concierge ad in a local periodical when we were visiting. She suggested I look into it, so I arranged an initial meeting, and I am so glad I did. Beth Ann was ready and eager for the challenge. With grace and kindness, Beth Ann, team leader Jennifer, and their team of movers helped my parents sort through every single item in the house. They collected trash, organized for special trash pick-ups, dropped off donations, packed everything, made arrangements for the moving company, and even confirmed arrangements with the international shipping company, catching a critical issue in the plans my family had made. It was a monumental undertaking, but Beth Ann remained personally involved and showed real personal concern for my parents throughout, kept in regular contact with me about any concerns, checked in with progress reports (including photos!), and made sure everything happened on time and without a hitch. I had high expectations, but Beth Ann and her team exceeded them. I cannot recommend her enough. She and Jennifer were life-savers, and my family is forever grateful for their help.
