A good place to go browse for something cool. Now, I'll admit I'm a sucker for peddler's malls. They're usually nice places to go looking around, and this definitely is one such place. Like most peddler's malls (or as they used to be called, flea markets), they're a large space in an old shopping center (where the local Sears used to be) that's been converted into a display space for many businesses different booths by local people selling various things. It's a big, motley mix of things. Vintage clothing. Furniture. Home decor. DVD's and old paperback books. Toys. Small appliances. Jams, jellies, and preserves made by the Amish or other local small businesses. It's definitely worth browsing around to see if they have anything you might like. read more

Seems to be operated by rude, judgmental old women. They get upset when you have any kind of problem, such as; unfamiliar containers or questions. If you aren't "normal" looking, they will speak to you with an attitude even when you are just checking out. The selection is here is fairly great, though. Some odd finds like shadow boxes and Wendy's art from an actual store. Sadly, it's hard to recommend this place. read more

Nice place to window shop and buy gifts. They offer several "booths" by all different local merchants- selling anything from home made items to items that were collecting dust in the garage. There is truly something for everyone here. I think this peddlers mall is also very clean which makes me enjoy shopping here even more. My favorite booth is JordanKYCrafted. He makes amazing wooden pieces and furnishes them in chalk paint. He has made my boyfriend several beautiful custom pieces. If you need anything made- this is your guy. We were looking at pants and my buddy needed a mattress so he layed on it and some lady came and tried to kick us and we told her to check the camera and she wouldn't!!! This place is fantastic. Whenever I have an idea to look for an old milk jug or an end table or a glass pitcher or whatever else random vintage type of stuff you can't find at stores like Walmart, I go here to peruse the booths for treasures. (The only other option in Georgetown is Goodwill, and their shelves are lacking.) Sometimes I leave empty-handed, and sometimes I manage to fill up the trunk of my vehicle. Either way, I enjoy seeing the different items that come through here on a regular basis. Booths vary from military surplus to primitive decor to pet supplies to personalized cornhole boards to furniture to clothing to candles to Amish candies to holiday decor to accessories to old VHS tapes and more. There's even glass cases of cell phone covers and purses. There is something for everyone here. In fact, there's a lot of something for everyone. You can spend hours browsing the treasures/junk and trinkets people put up for sale. Some of the items are a great deal and some are priced ridiculously. I guess it depends on how much someone values something. One person's junk is another's treasure! read more

I shopped here at the Peddlers Mall in Georgetown yesterday and I had a great time exploring down the many aisles at this location. They have a hodgepodge of everything you could think off. They have antique and many other new items. I believe this is one of the cleanest Peddler Mall around and seems like each booth is very organized. I was just killing time but I bet I walked around for a good hour and was amazed at the variety of items. I did not buy anything but my husband has bought tools and military items here in the past. I saw several interesting restored pieces of furniture but we are not in need of any but if so I liked some of the farmhouse furniture. They have nice clean restrooms and chairs to sit and rest. One booth had some really nice equestrian art and items. This was a great stop in my day and quite a enjoyable visit. read more

The service is so bad it's unreal. I was trying to see if they had khaki pants because I needed some for a dinner rehearsal for a wedding. I know probably not the place to buy some but I'm out of town and I was just curious to see if they had any my size. Anyways, some lady followed me and my buddies around the entire store and yelled at me and my buddies to get out after I was grabbing some pants to see if they fit. She then accused me of just looking and not buying, and she accused my buddies jumping on the mattresses. We told her to check the cameras and she refused. She didn't ask us to leave after she realized I was actually wanting to buy pants. After that, I realized the pants wouldn't fit for my boots for the dinner rehearsal so I continued to look around and she wouldn't stop following us. She was rude to us the entire time and even cussed us out. We were super respectful the entire time. I wouldn't' recommend this place unless you plan to get stalked and followed the entire time. Bored? In the mood to browse and spend hours scouring through one of a kind and extinct items? This is your place. It's in an area of Georgetown that used to be what we called an outlet mall. Now, the former outlet mall includes places like a nail salon, movie theater, church and several other places that found a resurrected home in the former outlet mall. Quite ironic that most of the items in the peddlers mall probably have a similar past as the current strip mall. As a child, I remember heading to Georgetown just to browse the flea market... it was the closest flea market to Lexington. Those were the days before Lexington got it's own peddlers mall and before it became a bit taboo to call it a flea market. But a peddlers mall is just that, what we used to call a flea market, but now appealing to more of a younger generation than an antique store. Yes, you can find antique items here, but that's not all. You can find new items here too... Tools, candles, homemade soaps, tie dye shirts, mopeds, led lights and a bunch of other items that I made a mental note of, because I never know when I'll be in the market for a shiny moped. read more

Obscenely overpriced and mostly junk. I collect coins and several dealers had a number of common silver coins. The coins were more than double what they would sell for online or at a reputable dealer. Some of the coins were only worth silver melt value, yet were offered for more than twice their metal value. The rest of the offerings were similarly priced. If someone told me i could have everything in the store for free, I'm not sure I would have left with much. Who overpays for this kitch and junk? I'm not a snob, I like going to Goodwill stores and will buy things for reasonable prices. read more

What an absolutely nice store. I bought several Berenstain Bear books ( That is what I collect ). I also bought several mugs. My mom bought several items. This is such a great place to shop for things you never knew that you wanted, or search for things you know you must have. Within a 45-50 minute drive south from me near Florence, it's a great "I don't know what I want to do but I want to do something" destination. Over the years, I've gotten some great treasures here, and always love to visit when I have a carefree Saturday or Sunday. Located in a large space in what was once an outlet mall, Peddler's is an antique and flea market. But, don't let that last part fool you--it is NOTHING, and I repeat NOTHING like Richwood Flea Market or other flea markets I've been to where there is just garbage, biker pictures, military surplus clothing or craptastic candles and porn. There are a handful of booths that have stuff I have no interest in (miliatary clothing and biker stuff, mirror pictures, whatever) but the rest is just a mish mash of collectibles, antiques, primitive items,some handmade and lots of old furniture, even vintage clothing. I understand that many people who used to be downtown Georgetown in the "Antique's District" have satellite booths in Peddler's because folks don't seem to come downtown anymore. Be prepared to take your time, be prepared to look. The booths are often easy to get around in and they do provide shopping carts to put your purchases in to bring to the front when you pay. Keep your eyes peeled for special signage in the booths--often, the booth owners name and number is posted in case you want to make an offer on something, or inquire about a better price, and many times, I've noted special sale signs for certain weekends such as 20% or sales on certain items within the booth. read more

Great selection in our little town. They have a little bit of everything ranging from antiques to seasonal decor to toys to army surplus and more! We can get lost in here for days if we really wanted to. There's something for everyone. I'm so glad this large, used-to-be department store isn't sitting empty like the old Kroger and Kmart in town. If you go within an hour of the peddler's mall closing for the day, be prepared to hear, "The peddler's mall will be closing in ____ minutes, please make your final selections!" in 10 minute increments. read more

Huge place. Well maintained. Mostly wide aisles to handle shopping carts or a wheelchair. Most booths are rented out and well stocked. Good prices. Nicest Peddlers Mall of the 10 or so I've visited in central Ky. recently. So why only 4 stars? The place is very difficult to navigate. You can't shop side to side or front to back since there are booths that impede such a plan of attack. Don't let that stop you from visiting. Just bring bread crumbs or a non-shopper whose job it is to navigate. Another small issue was the lines at checkout. Never seen such a backup unless it was on the interstate. The owner should address these issues and it would be a 5 star location. read more

Great place to find very unique items. I collect vintage salt cellars this is the only place to get them outside of a antique shop. We were going to do some yard sales but it was 85 outside. This was so nice to have AC while browsing. Some of the booths did have really high prices , example : used purse non fashion label $38.00???? What the ?? That should have been $10.00 or less! Best peddlers mall in the area in my opinion! I live in Lexington but I prefer this one over the Lexington one. It's cleaner, smells a lot better, & is neater. Most of the booths are much neater than in Lexington. They have pretty much everything, antiques, porcelain, whatnots, folk art. I found a nice Chinese vase there once & found out it's worth a couple hundred dollars! Nice bargain. Some booths are way overpriced, but bargains are everywhere. The main thing I like about the Georgetown Peddlers Mall is the quality of the items seems much better than at any of the other Peddlers Malls in the area, especially Lexington or Richmond. Buyer Beware!! I bought a new wooden porch swing from Booth 537 for 169.00 and it broke the first day I had it. The store said they could do nothing but would contact the vendor who never contacted me. There are a lot of unique items in the mall but I would never buy an expensive item again, especially from this vendor as it was very disappointing to have this poor customer service, particularly on a new item. read more
