I spent some time exploring this shop one afternoon, and I came across many interesting things. Nothing I needed, but interesting nonetheless. This shop, like many other antique shops, houses loads of old items scattered across multiple floors. Whether you're looking for books, toys, clothing, luggage, accessories, home decor, dishes, furniture (you get it.. the list goes on and on..), you can likely find it here. I love the style of this store with a mix of antiques and new items. The store contained many Lexington pictures such as maps of the city and horse pictures and signs. The style of the store was a hip rustic vibe and many new and beautiful rugs and furnishings. There was also bar ware and bourbon barrel heads and bourbon stave items. The place contained many cool tables, bars, shelving units and military pictures and tables. The owner Chad Tussey was helpful and gave me a card with the website. The website was well laid out with the items divided into categories: furniture, accessories, bourbon barrels, cover your walls, oriental rugs, lighting, stuff for your bar, Kentucky made soaps, candles, and food, architectural salvage, hats, shirts, socks, etc., grooming supplies, new relic finds, and sale items. I was driving from Nashville to Cincinnati and picked Frankfort as a place to get out of the car and walk for an hour. Not one to resist a craft store, I decided I could pop in for a minute or two. I perused the store for over an hour and left with $400 worth of merchandise. Completely Kentucky is, in my opinion, the best crafts store in the US. This is not a store where you go to "get a deal." The merchandise is priced so the artists can be decently compensated and the store can keep its lights on. That means not cheap. But coming from the left coast, I thought the prices were very reasonable. When it comes to wood and clay crafts, Kentucky knocks it out of the park. But this store features artists working in every manner of medium. Their commitment to providing a spot to as many Kentucky artists and crafts people as possible is impressive. I love this store. The day after I discovered them I started saving for my next visit. My goal is the have minimum $1000 to spend and to also bring along an empty suitcase so I can get all my loot back home. :)

Sweet little picture frame shop in Cynthiana…read more I mainly came here because the outside advertises that it's a 'Christian Book Store' too. Christian book store? Hmm.... not really. They had a couple books and religious trinkets, but only as a small selection off to the side. I found a license plate frame for my car, though... so that was cool. Not really coming back for the 'book store.' This place is mainly a picture framing service. I cannot really comment on their work since I haven't had anything framed, but the woman working behind the counter seemed sweet and a customer was inside, admiring something that had been framed beautifully. The frame selection on the wall looked nice. If I ever get something framed, I'll write an update. ;)
