I often wonder if demographics play a role in what you find at Goodwill Stores and not just due to the people that donate to their neighborhood spot. But I know that Goodwill sends out items to different locations. Maybe this one is on the short end of that stick and gets stuck with crappy items. Anyway, the staff is always nice. And the music makes you what to stay longer looking around.

Bought a set of queen size bed sheet set for just $9.99 which is a great deal. It's a good place to find bargain items. If you are on a budget, then check them out. Great selection a lot of variety of different things. They have great deals that is a lot cheaper than any other retail or variety store. Also, they sell everything here; clothes, shoes, toys, home decor, book bags, lingerie, accessories, perfume/cologne, and much more. Customer service is great and helpful. Ample free parking avaiable as it sits in a shopping plaza. One thing I don't like here is they sell clothing, but don't have a fitting/trial room. It's a fairly new location right off of Flat Shoals Pkwy, in the plaza with Family Dollar. There's parking galore and the store is huge! There's bad music playing (like in most stores) and it's brightly lit. Items range from toys to clothes to furniture. New inventory arrives every fifteen minutes so as you can imagine, there's a lot of stuff! The store is very organized but in a weird, savant sort of way. Shirts are sorted by type (t-shirt, blouse, uniform) and color (pink, rose, fuscia), but not by size. The denim section is just as crazy. They have rows and rows of jeans that aren't sorted by size. We were looking for petites. There's no petite section :(. But the selection is vast, the fitting rooms are clean, there are cool shopping carts and some pretty good sales if you can figure them out. Tiny plastic tabs are attached to each item. If you get a certain color tag (and the color changes weekly) you get a percentage off! I thought the prices were a little high. But my brother (a card-carrying member of Thrifters Anonymous) explained that Goodwill Industries is non-profit. Items are more than they would be at a Value Village because 83% of their revenue is spent on programs. The Goodwill helped over 300,000 people find jobs last year so you're shopping for a cause. A random sample of prices: Slippers $3 Ties $3 Women's pants $5.75 Women's blouses $5.75 Shoes $6 Women's jeans $7.47 Overpriced piece of gym equipment $350 Yes, there are a lot of questionable items. Everyone moves on as if it's no big deal. The "store manager" checks the computer and says they never even inputted my information into the system. So I'm asking what's the recourse in this situation and she looks at me blankly. After some back and forth she suggests 20% off an in-store purchase. I ask for the owners information and she directs me to the Plato's website. I feel like this situation was not handled properly at all. How do you just lose someone's items and have no solution for them??? The managers and team members are doing their best to minimize wait times. I like the remodeling they did. Definitely more convenient and spacious to shop. The store in Morrow, GA is truly the fastest check out of all the Rose stores. Got some really nice things. I always find what I came for. Racks were packed tight with merchandise. Also, their fragrances / colognes are cheaper compared to other retailers. Only con for myself is no public restroom. The price is right and you get everything you need. I didn't respond. No smiles at all from either one of them. Walking into the store Denae says welcome, but Jasmyn never opened her mouth. She acts like she is a little snooty. My first bad experience happened about 1-2 months ago and I let it slide. I cleaned my closet out during spring break dropped bag off and came back nothing was touched. Denae says it had an Odor or something or smell likes cats. I told her ma'am I don't have any cats nor do I Like cats. She said, " we will take them if you want to wash them and bring them back". I looked at her and walked out the store. Bear in mind I came back a week a two later with the same clothes still in my bag, dealt with different Associates in the store and 1/2 of my large bag was taken. I saw my purses and clothes hanging in the store. This was an INSULT to me, but I did let it slide. Today I am not letting it slide. Without warning, a group of approximately eight staff members gathered just a few feet from our table and erupted into an extremely loud celebration, screaming at the top of their lungs as if they were in a sports bar. The outburst startled us so badly that it literally sent my husband into atrial fibrillation (AFib). He was visibly shaken and extremely upset, and we were prepared to leave immediately. Our waiter could clearly see how distressed we were. Since we had already ordered the lobster bites appetizer, he kindly offered to move us to another table. We appreciated his effort and accepted. We finished the appetizer, but by then the evening was ruined, so we left and had dinner elsewhere. What disappointed us most was the complete lack of management involvement. Our waiter knew exactly what had happened and how upset we were, yet not once did a manager come to our table to apologize, ask if my husband was okay, or acknowledge that the staff's behavior was completely inappropriate for a fine dining restaurant. This wasn't about cheering for a game--it was about professionalism. Guests who choose a steakhouse expect a calm, enjoyable atmosphere, not to be startled by employees screaming just feet away from their table. We have always enjoyed Coalition, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management addresses this with their staff so no other guests have their evening ruined the way ours was.
