Goodwill thrift store on Calgary trail in Edmonton.

if there was a lower rating I would give it to this store on Calgary trail in Edmonton. there was 30+ minutes left before close and as my wife was trying to leave and holding items up In front of a mirror she was screamed at by a rude, and belligerent employee. she screamed at my wife "what are you doing we are trying to close, are you going to leave those items there"as she looking at the items trying to decide if she wanted them . the employee continued yelling at her and then proceeded to talk shit behind her back to another employee while she stood there, "the employee saying to the other some people are rude and ignorant, just leaving shit all over when we are trying to close, calling her a derogatory name " good to know they scrape the bottom of the gene pool for that one, if they would have gave her a few more minutes, my wife always brings un wanted items to the front and hangs them in the returns rack. so thanks to that employee and the one that didn't stop the other from taking shit, we and everyone we know won't be going to this goodwill. I suggest if you are not happy in your life don't project it into customers and if you don't want to deal with curtain aspects of retail find another job.

Their shelves were well organized and full of great finds. I usually like to search for kitchen items and sometime some clothing items. This location had a great selection of kids books too! Some great find this time. The staff working here were also very friendly and pleasant. I ended up buying a cool handmade dress that fit me perfectly for $10, just a tad bit long on me. I also got 2 amazing condition Dr. Seuss books for $2 each, and a milk glass nut serving dish for $6. Check this location out if you're in the area.

First - So I get that with the current pandemic there is a lot more cleaning involved for all staff. So I partly understand the shortened hours to accommodate for cleaning. However, every other store I have been to recently as reinstated their regular hours. I think that 11am-7pm is just ridiculous, there's no time to go in the morning and most people who want to go in the evening, can't go either! Second - How can you have a store for buying clothes and not have your change rooms open?? AND not change your return policy!! So if you can't try on any clothes and you take home a bunch to try them on you can't return them?? You can only get an exchange? Honestly it's just ridiculous. I don't think I'll be back until you fix these two things.
