You see, my mother liked to collect pretty things, and my family doesn't have the space for all her salt and pepper shakers, Christmas decorations, eagles, owls, wolves, chefs, dishes, etc., etc. But I didn't want to just shove them off to just anywhere. I wanted it to mean something. Thankfully, I can do that here. I came to the MCC on the recommendation of a friend who volunteers with the Yeg Water Warriors. She told me that MCC helps YWW as many other organizations in the community and beyond. I Googled them and found that it was even better than I'd been told. I can breathe a sigh of relief that the sale of my mother's beautiful things will go to good causes, as she would have wanted. Staff was excellent and helpful. We checked the store out before we left, and found it to be clean and organized. We bought candles and a jacket. I'm going to be back after I declutter my house to bring them more, because I support what they do. I think I'll buy some of that coffee too. Thanks everyone at MCC for making me feel better about giving away my Mom's beautiful, but space consuming things.

There is parking in the streets to the side of this place but it is on a busy main road. Inside its full of knick knacks. I'm more of a vintage clothing shopper but this was a fun place to look around. Some highlights were star wars toys, a wall of records, weird pipes, lots of artwork, and a coco cola collection. I found a corner with iron on patches which was a delight and I bought a few of those. It was fun to look around and it's all wheelchair accessible too!

The hat selections are very cute although I have yet to buy a hat that suits me. A main thing that keeps me coming back to antique stores is well-stocked & well-cared for kitchen items. I was not impressed at all with their prices. For used item they are pricey especially if they get there inventory from donations. They're selection is massive. I only explored about five percent of the store. I found this jacket that they were selling for $20.99 and cost co is selling it for $14.99 (on sale). I had to do something about that price!!! I asked the front desk to look up the real value of the item. I don't recommend this store. Winners /Marshall's wells cheaper items than this store.

A bit smaller than the Whyte Ave location but it has a great selection of clothes and goods. Nice and clean inside. There is a donation drop off zone outside. A large parking lot services the strip mall so you should never have an issue with parking. I like this store as it is way less busy than the Whyte Ave location so that makes the shopping experience a bit better.

The person who makes it well known she is the boss, can be very vocal and irritating. She says things like "You know how I feel about saying things twice" and "what have I said about doing this. It is a constant, loud conversation that never stops. I don't go there as much as I used to due to my high anxiety and wanting to tell her to stop. Take your conversations somewhere private and let us shop in relative peace. Don't forget to look upstairs too. This place is dangerously close to my work AND my house (sort of halfway in between, so I'll be stopping in frequently for new items.
