The items were then given to the people who worked on them or were resold. Goodwill's philosophy is "a hand up, not a hand out". Today, Goodwill South Florida is the sixth largest of 159 Goodwills in the United States and Canada. This store is located in the Sunset Square shopping plaza on University Drive in Sunrise. We were having dinner in the plaza and decided to a little thrift shopping after. This Goodwill was large and well organized.
