This store had some collectibles, clothing, books, jewelry, tools, and craft supplies. It was definitely an eclectic range of items. If you are a creative person you might find something to refurbish or a way to creatively reuse an item by upcycling it. I was excited to see some Hardy Boy books that I last saw in my grandmother's basement from when my mom was a kid. The doors says they accept donations and their Facebook page says they partner with Broward House and The Humane Society of Broward County. Everything was clearly marked with a price and they seemed reasonable. Although I didn't find anything today it was fun to stop and poke around. They are one of several thrift stores in this area so you can include it on a Davie thrifting expedition.

I was most interested in their bric-à-brac section which contained some vintage items. More expensive items were kept in a glass cabinet near the check out. They even had a few pieces of furniture. A side room contains children clothing, books, and toys. I ended up picking up some building magnets for the kids at school for only $4. Which leads me to why I love church thrift stores so much, they are always willing to bargain. Everything in the store was very reasonably priced and you can always make your own price suggestions. This isn't a huge thrift store but it was really fun to explore. They had some unique things and of course the inventory will always change depending on what people donate. You can support a worthy cause, find a treasure, and help the planet by keeping items out of the landfill all by thrifting. Come and check them out.

I donate at about two times a month to VVA. They pick up household goods, clothes, shoes, sports equipment, books, etc. They have a truck that rolls up to my house and I put my donations in a bag and leave it on the patio. It is a beautiful process. But I had some clothes that I "outgrew" and they were all nicer, name brand items. I was going to Miramar anyway so I figured I might be able to pick up a few bucks off my nice, clean and name brand items. I walked in and she had an attitude, but ok. She explained the process. All items must be clean, in good condition and within the past two years. Well, my clothes and Uggs were clean and in good condition. Most of the items were in the two year scope but two probably were not. I had eight items in total. I walked around browsing and saw a pair of white jeans with a stain on them, ready to be sold. Nothing here for me, so I went to Publix a few doors down. She calls me and says my items are ready to be picked up. She put my Uggs in the bag with the clothes. I brought them in separate bags and don't put used shoes in the same bag as clothes! Anyway, she said my items were either not clean or over two years old. Actually, one dress is dirty now, because she put the Uggs on them!! I do not recommended this place at all. You would probably be better off selling your clothes online or donating to a worthwhile charity. I have never seen someone who seems to hate their job as much as this female.

I noticed this new store. Ahat a breath of fresh air - a nice unusual concept for this area, a vintage store. It is very nicely laid out, and worthy of visit. I love vintage, but I personally prefer to poke around myself to find my own treasures. But definitely a nice store for this area.
