First called the place to see if they sold magic cards in bulk as in go threw it yourself pick out…read morex cards for x price, was told over the phone that they didn't sell bulk in larger quantities but they did a bag deal which was fill a small bag for 4 dollars they said it would be about 100 cards. Basically came to .04 per card not a bad deal. So we drove an hour and arrived. First impression of the store was nice huge variety of tcgs collectibles etc. spoke with the same gentleman again that I spoke with over the phone asked again about the 1000 count bulk box and how much it would be, went to talk to his boss and came back and said it would be 50$ I immediately said no, while it may have come out to be .05 per card I knew from previous experience with my hometown card shop that was double the price, so I decided we would just do a few bags and call it. So we sat for an hour went through a couple of boxes and made a selection close to 200 ish cards went to go put them in the bag and quickly realized there was no way in heck 100 cards would fit in this bag barely 40 cards fit without bending this meant the per card price was .10 per card nearly triple the original price I was told over the phone. At this point I returned the cards and left the shop. And will not be returning. The only saving grace was the last gentleman I spoke with who was willing to negotiate on the price of the stack of 100 I had already brought to him but after nearly an hour of sorting and collecting, I had enough, customers had zero sense of boundaries was bumped several times in the head by a guy with a back pack while I was going threw the bulk. Then he proceeded to push his chair all the way against mine even after I scooted in closer to the table. So will not be going back due to prices and customer related issues.
