I'm from out of state so it took a little bit to check out because of friendly conversation in front of me plus they use an old fashion cash register which was giving the poor lady a hard time. The stores proceeds go to a good cause of helping foster animals. There was a selection of a little bit of everything however some of the stuff was overpriced. boots are normally 6.00 unless marked but they had a new pair of boots priced at $75.00. The store was small but it was packed to the brim so it was hard to move around and look at everything.

I went into Cast Away Consignment and found a very small chair I was looking for to go with a desk,…read moreeven though it was a bit unstable, I could do something with it to fix that. There was no price on it so I took a pic of it and brought it to the lady who was busy pricing things. She quoted me 39.99, which I thought was pretty high. I asked for $30, hoping I could get it for either 30 or 35 even. No budge, no fun, no sale; she wanted $40 and that was it. I also noticed that all of the prices in this shop are over priced, even on the broken items, and not worth what they are asking. Huge mark-up for a consignment shop for sure.
