awful there was an elderly lady who was the cashier was absolutely rude. was asking for next in line and called me and my friend a snot. i am absolutely livid will not be going back there . although there was a lady there the day before and she was so sweet never got her name but talked about her story with us. learn how to treat customers even if your having bad day !!! read more

Really lovely thrift store that has a ton of stuff, including a book room, Christmas room, lamp room, and everything else that you can think of. I got a 1953 Webster dictionary for one dollar. And, they had an excellent array of art prints. Plus, there are 3 other thrift stores in this shopping center, so it's really worth a trip. read more

History

Established in 2021.

In 2021, God gave our ministry an amazing opportunity to partner with another ministry and open Roots. We are so excited to have had an amazing first year! Looking forward to what God has in store.

Meet the Manager: Laura L.

I was raised right—to love to thrift to flip furniture and hunt for treasures. What a blessing being able to serve Jesus and be in a place I love! When we started Fostering Roots, our foster parent support ministry, we had no idea that we would be given the opportunity to have a thrift store. I do something that I love everyday, with people that I love, supporting a ministry I love. Most of all I get to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the community!

The stores proceeds go to a good cause of helping foster animals. There was a selection of a little bit of everything however some of the stuff was overpriced. boots are normally 6.00 unless marked but they had a new pair of boots priced at $75.00. The store was small but it was packed to the brim so it was hard to move around and look at everything.

There was no price on it so I took a pic of it and brought it to the lady who was busy pricing things. She quoted me 39.99, which I thought was pretty high. I asked for $30, hoping I could get it for either 30 or 35 even. No budge, no fun, no sale; she wanted $40 and that was it. I also noticed that all of the prices in this shop are over priced, even on the broken items, and not worth what they are asking. Huge mark-up for a consignment shop for sure.

ROOTS is an exceptional resale/thrift store benefitting foster families and the local community. The volunteers are super friendly and helpful. The store offers great end of the month clothing sales. There's a lovely book room and even a year-round Christmas room. ROOTS no longer carries furniture. read more

Wonderful, clean, lovely thrift store that supports the needs and wellbeing of foster children (nonprofit organization - Fostering Roots). The clothes and shoes, especially, are well cared for, carefully organized, and neatly displayed. Worth your time and your money. read more

I was a volunteer for roots and the service and prices are amazingly low. keep in mind that all the stuff they have help family's and other people that need it. Roots and the people who help are deserving of a huge thank you for helping this comunity be awesome. read more

Great place. Don't know why they had to go up in price on jackets from $3 to $5. I don't think they did that last year. Nevertheless, great thrift store with mostly reasonable prices. read more
