I went into Cast Away Consignment and found a very small chair I was looking for to go with a desk, even though it was a bit unstable, I could do something with it to fix that. There was no price on it so I took a pic of it and brought it to the lady who was busy pricing things. She quoted me 39.99, which I thought was pretty high. I asked for $30, hoping I could get it for either 30 or 35 even. No budge, no fun, no sale; she wanted $40 and that was it. I also noticed that all of the prices in this shop are over priced, even on the broken items, and not worth what they are asking. Huge mark-up for a consignment shop for sure. read more

Excellent selection and reasonably priced consigned clothing! Might seem be a bit disorganized, but they tag everything accordingly so you know what is being discounted. Nice gently used items, large selection of clothes, home goods, shoes and purses. You can even make money by bring your stuff here to sell! read more

I have never given a company a bad review before but Cast Away Consignment deserves one. It took them over 2 months to price my items and put them on the floor. Both the owner Rhonda and a sales girl were extremely rude! The store is a mess with piles of items stacked up waiting to be processed. Finders Keepers Consignment is much better. The store is clean and very well organized and the owner and staff are a joy to work with. read more

This COULD be a nice store, but it's a disaster. There is so much stuff piled up in there that you can't even get to some of the things, plus it makes it look trashy. I took things in for consignment near two months ago and they still do not have it put out for sale. I think they need to learn to say no to people once in a while so they can get caught up. read more

After spending hours digging through five or six thrift stores in Hixson and coming up mostly empty handed, I was delighted find a small rack packed with exactly what I needed - men's long sleeved dress shirts in a variety of colors. As I started making a pile of them for a school play, the lady brought me a buggy. The sweet cashier even gave me a discount for buying 18 of them. Pop's and Granny's Saved the Day and the Play! I wish my photo of the store didn't turn out so blurry. I may drive back over there after the play to show the folks how they helped all the kids look good. :D
