APET is located on hwy 69 as one enters from Lindale just before hwy 80 in MIneola. All the proceeds go toward maintaining their cat and dog shelter located off hwy 80. I try to stop whenever I am in Mineola. If you and a friend decide to go, there are several places to have lunch in and around downtown. Take a right on 80 and travel 1/2 mile to Logans - all kinds of cuisine or burgers - go left on 80 and its one business down on your right (East Texas Burger)..then shop til your car is full at APET. Check for their current hours as small towns aren't known to keep late hours.

It looks like they mop the floors every morning. As far as their inventory, almost every piece of furniture looks as if it came from the showroom floor. No particle board furniture in this store. The appliances they sell are gently used, reasonably priced, and Searcey's has every price point. I have bought several items from Searcey's and everything is fantastic. I liked going in to look because they were a cash only store. Which means, I would have to think about my purchase while going to the bank. Well, they take credit & debt cards now. Great store with honest owner's...they work the store everyday and do not have employees. I like to go on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to see if they have any new items from the weekend estate sales.

The Loft is an antique mall with 60 different vendors set up with their own decorated blocks and booths filled with anything and everything from glassware, clothes, vinyl records, knickknacks, and more. All three stories are worth exploring because you'll never know what you'll find and see. It's like a museum of history in itself and free entertainment as you find stuff you never knew existed (Coca-Cola branded Labubu?) Give them a shot when you're in the area. So for me, it wasn't really worth it, but my friend did find a cute vintage plate. Parking can be hard, so there's a parking structure around the corner. There is also limited street parking during construction.

First of all it smells divine inside and there are employees throughout the store to help you find things and to ask questions too. I love not having to look and look for an employee to ask a question to...they are just right there. But it did also make me question, "do they have a lot of thefts?" There are a lot of whites and just really classy and comfy bed linens and decor and clothes. While leaving First Monday we stopped here and glad we did, although of course I didnt buy anything. :( This is off the busy street, I believe hwy 19. When we got into the parking lot there were hundreds of dead crickets. It was a crunchy walk inside. Got a t shirt for my son for $1. I mean you can't beat the prices. They had name brand stuff, Aeropostale, Dolce and Gabana, Levi's and others. Shoes, purses, hats, clothing and home decor including Christmas trees and ornaments all at great prices. Nice furniture too. I could not find anything in my size that I wanted but I'm sure I will in the future. They are on Facebook so you can look them up there.
