This is strictly for drop off! Lots of parking and they always have someone that comes out back with a bucket to help you. My advice would be to put things in a box , I made the mistake of putting shoes in my trunk - then I had to hand them the shoes one by one , lol! I also like that Goodwill will pick things up if you can't take them to the drop off location. Overall great experience when you need to donate things. read more

Took my granddaughters to the store at fair Plaza on Lomas and San Pedro last week your store is filthy, the items don't look like they have been washed shoes still had mud on them. I left within 10 minutes. read more

There's always a bargain inside here. The Outlet has bulk prices if you want to sift through a bunch of stuff to see if anything is of your liking. However, this place does attract a lot of people who aren't exactly well mannered. Just stay cautious of your belongings and you'll be fine. read more

I used to find great vintage items and unusual items here. Since the remodel a few years ago they only have newer items that are totally uninteresting . Its has also turned into items that Target stores cannot sell. Who wants that stuff?? There is also a lot less customers. It used to be crowded now its a handful of people in the store. First their staff here is so so nice. And as we were visiting but are also moving I am super excited I get to go back! I was there first week of January which is always super crazy for thrift stores due to all year end donations but I found some awesome stuff for what I consider to be reasonable prices. A pair of near new looney toons converse for about $12. Super cool graphic TShirts for 2.50 each. When we move I will come back for some home furnishings. And I believe Monday is senior day? It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I have an hour on my hands before I have to meet my Yelpie friends for what was National Chocolate Fondue day so I decide to stroll through Goodwill and see what treasures I might find. I love donating clothing and extra things I have in my home but today was different. I was on a mission to see what awesome kitchen items I can find. Being the foodie that I am the only thing that catches my eye while browsing through Goodwill is the Home Goods/Kitchenware. I love glancing at all the fondue sets, geez, I really want one but I have one at home. Then I happen to come across some nice pots & pans with a few brand names, ugh I'd love to have them but thats just adding to my already big collection at home. So many nice things I can buy and put to good use but I don't want to become a foodie hoarder. I did find some nice glass containers, and all of a sudden I am a green thumb, thinking of some seedlings I can start in these smallish sized containers. Adding to my cart! Now what else can I find... hmmm.... *quizzical look* The Donut Kween begins to search high and low for a Beignet Cutter. I'm on a quest since a FB friend of mine mentioned sometimes, very rarely but sometimes you might find one. All my probing got me nowhere but there were a few good finds in store for me! I found a few serving dishes and some kitchen knick-knacks! I walked away a happy bargain hunter! Thanks Goodwill and those that donate, it makes for a fun Sunday afternoon! read more

I have been to a lot of good wills A LOT. This one in particular is completely overpriced. These items are donated for FREE, and they are selling furniture and rugs for hundreds of dollars. A broken futon for 100$....seriously? Who is putting price tags on these items. Everyday shelf items are also priced higher than any other goodwill store I've ever been to. Why buy used items when they can be bought brand new for almost the same price? On the positive side the staff is pretty friendly and there are some cheap new items that get dropped off from target every week. This a clean and well maintained Goodwill. The fact that this organization helps and trains people for jobs is one of the reasons I patronize these stores. The reason for my one star review is the customer service. I had politely asked the lady (I believe her name was Brenda) behind the jewelry counter to open a dressing room for me. She said she would be with me in a minute. She continued to pull things out of the cases and sort them. And wait on other costumers - three separate people. At one point I started to walk over to a cashier to have them open the dressing room. She stopped me by saying would finish up and open the door. I fell for it. She helped another costumer instead. Brenda in fact never opened the door. I was at least able to gain entry after a woman exited and I had cleared the cobwebs off of me - I had been there long enough for the spiders to think I was a houseplant. While was in there I heard someone go up to Brenda and ask for her to open a dressing room for them. And she did. Immediately. I assume Brenda has whimsical sense of customer service. Or perhaps I do not understand the particular pecking order at this Goodwill.... Nonetheless, the staff here could use some additional training. read more

Some Goodwills are inspiring. Some Goodwills are a little depressing. They are all kind of the same: big, open, space with lots of used clothes for sale. When I was in high school and college, Goodwill was my store of choice. Ironic t-shirts aplenty. Goofy clothes at your disposal. There's a reason people donate it. That being said, this place being located so near a relatively wealthy part of town, there's some real good treasures to be had. You just gotta look around. Also, they have housewares, which can be nice if you have new place and need those things. Kind of pitiful in the furniture department, however. read more

I have stayed out of this Goodwill for several months, because it was getting too pricey. Today I found myself stranded a block away for an hour and walked over to see how things were. It was a complete disaster. Shoes everywhere all over the floor, housewares piled up looking like somebody didn't pack up a house and just walked away. It was so nasty, I thought I was going to find a discarded diaper on the shelf, but gratefully I didn't. Further, it seemed like there was more than the requisite crazy mumblers creeping in the aisles. I can't recommend this place to anyone for anything. read more

I used to love to go here. It was one of my favorite when in the area. One day I found a lamp that they had just put out. I was sooo in love. But THEY forgot the ticket. So I happily took it to the check out counter and was informed they were unable to sell it. I asked for a manager, willing to pay whatever ridiculous price they asked, knowing I loved it. The rude employee took it away saying sorry, its our policy. I asked when it would go back out. He said 24 hours. I went back the next day after my 12 hour shift, and of course it was not there. I havent been back. I dont see why I had to be penalized for their mistake in not marking the object in the 1st place! But thats fine. I used to spend alot of money in there... I will just take my business to another place with nicer employees and people who do their jobs in the 1st place... or at least correct their mistakes... I understand we are all human and forget. read more

Goodwill? Really? Perhaps a name change is in order. I am shocked at the prices in your store, way too high! Most folks that shop here are looking for bargains because they don't have a lot of money and need a little help.You should be pricing USED items at garage sale level pricing (for used goods) OR at least 75% off of new prices, not near new prices like I have seen in this store. Example...a used area rug, filthy and worn for $168.00....are you kidding me? Drop it down to $25.00 and I might consider it. Having a rug cleaned costs a couple hundred on it's own for goodness sake! A used storage chest priced at nearly $200.00!! Seriously, you can purchase brand new for less than these prices and I have to wonder who is in charge of the pricing here, it's shocking. I am aware of Goodwill stores funding for job training.I am reminded at the register when checking out as you now ask for more money(rounding up to the nearest dollar) every time. Besides shopping here(for items that have been donated for free) that should be helping to fund the training centers all on it's own.They do that in every state I've been to and still don't feel the need to price gouge.I found a coffee table in a nearby state at Goodwill for $8.99, that's an affordable asking price and most people can swing that.The prices at this store are disappointing at best. I'd skip this store and suggest going to a flea market where you can haggle for a better deal,they don't do that at Goodwill either. read more

Goodwill of New Mexico is my first charity of choice when it comes to donations of clothes and household items we no longer need. They do good work and don't make the news for discriminatory practices. I haven't shopped here in years, but it's a thrift shop -- so one shouldn't expect a pristine retail experience. I just want to say I hardly ever shop at goodwill and now I understand why I don't go to their store as often. I witnessed last night while shopping a customer that were wanting to negotiate a pricing on a pair of shoes that had a broken heel. The lady associate escorted them to her manager and manager came out of back office to which seemed agitated on her associate that asked her a question if the couple can pay a price of 0.99 cents since the pair of shoes were not in the best condition. Manager looked at the couple and asked them "well why do you even want them if they aren't in good condition?" Customer replied "I'm not sure I just want them." I'm sorry but let me just get something straight, since when did places just hire anyone as a manager? That was completely rude and not right to say to them and especially in front of other customers who heard and witnessed the way she spoke to them. Sure, the customers weren't upset about it but they wanted to pay and just ask about a pricing and for her to question them about why they want them if the condition isn't good is not her business to even ask them. She didn't even say it in a conversational way, it was put in an bugged attitude way. Afterwards, I walked away to think about a few items I was wanting to purchase. I found an espresso machine which has a green label and from what I'm aware of green labels to Goodwill mean it's "brand new" in this case, it was not brand new. It was used. It was a nice machine but coffee grinds and water were coming out of the machine so I went to speak to an associate and the guy basically blew me off about me asking if I could try to talk about a different pricing even if it was barely getting the tax off and he said "it's brand new and I'm not going to budge" Yet, I showed him the water and coffee grinds and was completely rude about it. I said never mind. They completely turned me away from their stores in the future and I have never had an issue in the past but I'm sorry they need to rethink who they have as management and associates because they treated me and the other couple pretty poorly. I get it jobs suck but 30 minutes before they close they should be accommodating to guests needs and questions not rushing to close and throw everyone out. I am completely appalled at the service that they provided last night and especially for this store to be "remodeled." Horrible service and will not return to Goodwill. read more

Recently moved to the area and I normally avoid the chain thrift stores, but didn't know where any other shops were yet. I stopped in to this location and was extremely pleased with how neat things were arranged and the helpfulness of staff members. I was looking for a crockpot and found exactly what I wanted at a price I couldn't really argue with. My only complaint would be that I wish their books were arranged at least by category. The lady at the cash register was very welcoming to me and told me about which days they have sales and offer further discounts. I will definitely go again. read more

Goodwill used to be so good. I shopped here a lot in the past and donated here for ages. I have been more and more disappointed with the selection of things offered. They are bombarded with really nice donations all the time, so where do all those things go? I once had to speak to the manager about how the donation staff roughly handled the fragile items in my donation- I am sure they broke some of it. I like this Goodwill they have a large amount of merchandise. Reasonable prices for the most part.

This goodwill seems cleaner and more organized than most thrift stores. They have a good selection of furniture and home goods, as well. Be sure to check if there are any color tag sales going on. read more

Purchased something at this store yesterday, it didn't work out so I came back to return it. The manger asked if I wanted store credit or back on my card, I specifically said back on my card because I am never up in that area and would never use it. He ran store credit, he's new thats fine, but then he said are you sure you don't want store credit, to which i replied no. He went to get another manager, Robert, apparently store credit can't be voided his reply was there was nothing he could do "are you sure you don't want store credit" No, I don't want store credit, well Robert says you can take this to the corporate office in person. I tell him thats not an option because I work from 6:30am-5pm, Robert tells me "well, sorry mam but we all have to work and there's nothing I can do" really??? wtf??? this isn't my mistake. he keeps pushing me on taking the store credit which I don't want, then tells me I can call the corporate store to resolve. The lady working the counter was like yeah sorry he's (the original manager doing the return) is new, yeah thats fine but if you're not sure how to do something ask for help, this was a total waste of my time and now have to deal with calling their corporate store monday. ridiculous customer service. read more
