Called before coming here, so they were ready for her visit. I thought it was odd that the employee took her back to the exam area, but told me that they'd call when the vet was done. Waited in the car for about an hour when the call came to pick up my dog. Met with the vet, and he told me that he expressed my dog's anal glands, but also asked if I wanted him to do more tests to ensure there wasn't also something else going on with her. I told him no, paid the vet bill of over $400 which included a small bottle of antibiotics for her, and brought her home. She didn't struggle with pooping after her vet visit. Gave her the antibiotics twice daily until she was done with her meds. She didn't seem to have any lasting effects. Two things that I didn't like were: 1. Me not being able to go with my dog to the exam room. 2. Being told that there may be something else wrong with her but not being provided a good explanation about what it was.

Easy freaking peasy! Payment was done at my car window and I was off with my day. So that was a while ago and I should have made a review back then but I was prompted today because they have AJ who works there and I have been texting about the updated shots and getting some paperwork over by email. I've had the absolute worst experience with scheduling at this Chewy Vet Care. I've been here three…read moretimes, and every single time there's been an issue. I always call and speak with a rep, and they are always cheerful and confirm my appointment. But twice now, I've arrived only to be told by the front desk clerks that they have no record of my appointment. The first time this happened was during our initial visit, where I had to spend 15 minutes explaining to them that the date and time were wrong between their text messages and emails. The second time was today. I was on a waiting list and got a call in the morning, all excited, saying they had an opening. I go in, and after waiting 10 minutes for them to figure out why my appointment wasn't documented, I then waited another 20 minutes for the vet tech who never showed up because they were behind. Why even ask me to come in if you can't manage your schedule? I have a job and another doctor's appointment to get to, so this was incredibly inconvenient. I ended up leaving and telling the front desk staff to cancel both appointments. Turns out, they only canceled one and kept the other despite me specifically asking them to cancel both. I called the hotline to try and resolve this and had to escalate to a manager. She told me she couldn't cancel the appointment and had to call the office directly. She ended up hanging up on me, and when I called back, another representative said there was no record of a future appointment for my pup. The incompetence here is unbelievable. I still haven't received a confirmation email that my appointment was canceled. I will never bring my pup back here again, and I would strongly advise against dealing with them. Highly unprofessional and disrespectful of your time.
