Final result: I have a complete new roof and a "Fortified Roof Certificate" that qualifies me for a reduced rate on my Homeowner's insurance for the coming year. I'm more about quality than a fast-track job, so McRoof was a good choice. Ask your questions and be clear about your goals... they do a fine job of responding (although you may end up swapping messages w/ 3 or 4 different folk). Also, take note that their bid may well NOT be the lowest you'll get... but if you get what you pay for, who wants the lowest quality roof over their heads?

I set up an appointment and on the day of the appointment the owner said he was on the way, he never showed so i called, he said he was just at my house and on teh roof but i wasnt home so he left. I said that was baloney ive been waiting right here at the door with the door open! Come to find out he went to the wrong house! Ok, no problem, everyone makes mistakes, he said he would schedule to come back out. Then on a Sunday of all days i get a call from someone else who said they would come out on Thursday and i said i really wanted to meet the owner but Thursday would be fine. Then on Monday i get a message from the secretary who said they would have to cancel Thursday and cant come until i picked them as a contractor on the grant program Even though both the owner had already tried to come and and another person said they would be here Thursday. Ok whatever, Then after Thursday i picked them as a roofer on teh computer and they declined to come give a bid, Just wasted everyone's time from the get go and now the computer wont let me pick someone else, i have to get it fixed!
