Automated can and bottle depositories were convenient self-serves, and there is a staffed counter for things that the self-serve can't accomodate. I was in and out in short order! I was surprised by the variety of items accepted, and will be decluttering my closets of marginally and nonfuntioning items like coffee makers, juicer, my old kobo, and a couple dozen old telephone extensions, coaxial cables, hdmi cables and usb cables. telephones, radio - my list goes on, but they accept it all! Even plastic bags, which I thought were a no-no. Very convenient downtown location. My fave recent discovery!

The management was unprofessional and confrontational, namely the heavyset gentleman with the neck beard and the man bun. He used alot of profanities behind the counter, in the back, and even TO a customer in front of me. He should be fired, his business is in poor shape, and there are alot of rats and unsanitary trays that are black/brown with filth, even tho they are made of blue plastic you can hardly see the blue. Disguisting. Ill never go there again, despite using it for the last ten years it has steadily declined in quality.

I came to Island County ("the dump") to get rid of a carpet Grandma had when spending a few days…read morewith her. The carpet was large and we were charged a flat rate. We were able to back the car up to the dumpster area and get close enough that there was not too much wrestling to get the carpet into the dumpster. She had some other items she was thinking of getting rid of, such as paint, and when we asked about disposal we learned that oil-based and water-based paints required different disposal procedures. Learned something new on our visit. We went in the morning soon after it opened for the day and it was not too busy, the worker at the entrance where we paid the flat fee was friendly, full of insight, and eager to share what she knew to help out.

It was my first time going to a dump around in this area and they're not that easy to find but I came across this one and it is open seven days a week that accepts virtually anything before disposal. It's a little intimidating cuz it's very massive but once you're in they way your vehicle with your disposable Goods they allow you to go back into the area where you get rid of your disposables and then on the way out yeah, the way your vehicle and then they charge you the difference. I had a bunch of stuff from the house several toilets broken mirrors frames and a bunch of other stuff several hundred pounds ended up costing me 30 bucks.
