The service at Ports & Company is amazing…read more I'd been searching for a dress for a February wedding, and Ports & Company was the 10th store I'd tried. I wish I'd thought of them sooner. Not only did the staff at the store help me find a beautiful dress, but the dress was also on sale! Ports & Company is also a supporter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter. They provide the clothing to the models in the "Fashion Plates" fashion show and fundraiser. She hand selects her brands and products, and she seems to have used them all herself, so she can answer all your questions and help you find exactly what you need. Laura also carries a lot of less-common, more-high-end brands that you cannot find elsewhere. I came here for Oofa recovery shoes to nurse my poor plantar fasciitis, as none of the running-shoe stores within a 30-minute drive had my size. But GettiGear was listed as a retailer in the Oofa website, so I decided to check it out. So glad I did. First of all, she had my size in both the clogs and the slides. Secondly, the clogs were in sale. Third, she had both styles of the slides, which the other shoe stores did not. She also had the newest shoe-style Oofas-- and she was wearing them! I love that she test drives all her products for us! But then I noticed all the bright, well-made, beautiful running pants, the yoga pants, the high-quality running tops, the great yoga mats... And the sports bras! She carries my favorite brand, Sport Skirts (yes, they also make bras) -- AND she had them on sale!!! See, now, usually you have to order Sport Skirt products on line, as they only have a few brick-n-mortar stores around the country. I'm so glad I found a retailer where I can try on different Skirt Sport styles (I can already attest to their quality and fit. But of course I can, or Laura wouldn't be selling them In her store!) So I walked away with two pairs of Oofas and a sports bra (because really, you can't have too many). And it was all I could do to resist the fantastic running pants that were also on sale. I'll be back, and I'll be bringing my sisters and running buddies, too. I don't live in Wellesley, but whenever I need more running gear (and I almost always need more running gear), I'll wait until I can get back to Wellesley to buy it at GettiGear.

It is located right near South Shore Taco Guy (also a cute spot) and Schooners. The store is meticulous: clean, very stylish, well organized and comfy. The owner has a solid eye for style and it comes thru even in how cool she decorated it. The store has a good variety of consigned clothing, shoes/sneakers and handbags. The sizes run the gamete (I saw from XS to 18) and the brands range from better mall brands like Gap to more exclusive designers. I tried on 2 pairs of jeans and while they didn't fit, I would definitely come back. The clothes were very stylish and were in excellent/ like new condition and were all ironed or wrinkle-free (pet peeve is I hate when the I go thrifting and the clothes are displayed super wrinkly). Love supporting awesome independent businesses like this! Cassie could not have been more welcoming/ kinder!
