Though it was briskly busy for Sunday service, the ambiance remained thoroughly pleasant and impeccably maintained. We were seated toward the back of the establishment, offering an utterly magnificent, unobstructed view of the river. To begin, I selected a crisp Corona Extra with a fresh slice of lemon, while my assistant opted for a fine beer. For our luncheon, we ordered a platter of raw oysters, which were extraordinarily fresh, perfectly chilled, and thoroughly divine for a late-afternoon meal. To top off a splendid day, we indulged in a warm cinnamon roll for dessert a delightfully decadent sweet finish.
