But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. They damage our shrubs, trees and turf on a regular basis, and I have yet to see them repair anything they damage. In winter, their trucks knock down street signs all over the development, damage curbs, and lawns with careless plowing. The picture below is of damage done to the lawn adjacent to my townhouse. The lawns are very obviously too saturated to use heavy equipment on but the Shwaders crews persist despite the damage they are doing.

They did both the first 2 steps, weed control and fertilization the same morning before 7am. I sent them pictures of so bald spots on my yard with no signs of fertilizer . I have been fertilizing my own yard for forty years with a drop spreader per the manufacturers instructions so I know what the pattern should look like. They sent their 'expert' out who told me it looked fine even though their was no evidence of granules on a couple of bald spots on my yard. I would highly recommend you stay away from Weedmaster.

She also educated us on how we could easily add a rain garden to another area of our yard. She even accompanied me to the garden center to help shop for the right planters to frame up our front door. She can do as little or as much as you'd like for your landscaping projects -- from providing a plan to serving as the project manager, buyer and/or planter to implementing the entire plan from start to finish.
