Always a pleasure staying at The Goodbread House. The owner Mardja is so adorable and hospitable. Every time we visit Beautiful St Mary's we look forward to staying here. Breakfast is always great and made with attention to detail.

We had a wonderful stay at the Goodbread House! We loved the kitschy Victorian-style decor. There were a lot of thoughtful touches (complimentary drinks/snacks in the parlor, golf cart ride to the Cumberland ferry) and the breakfasts were great. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly throughout. All around a wonderful trip!

Beautiful and charming Goobread Inn in St Mary's - we will always stay here!

We came to this beautiful in on St. Mary's Main Street close to the ferry terminal because of the reviews we read. I hope that the review that I am leaving will lead you to this quaint and charming place; from the small details such as homemade delicious desserts, plus nuts and apples or a glass of wine in the evening, or orange juice and coffee in the morning.. Be amazed by the culinary talent of the innkeeper, our breakfast was one for the books! this is a quaint Victorian inn with personality and character. This small town will steal your heart, with its wonderful stories and wonderful people. You will want to come back over and over again over the years and visit the people that you meet here. It was a short stay but the perfect escape from a hectic everyday life to the tranquility of a time from the past

Antiquey B&B. Quirky fixtures. Just shy of schtick. Breakfast was OK but ambience was creepy and old.

This is an upscale neighbor with views of St. John's river as well as a semi-private road that makes for a nice stroll. It's located in a highly walkable area of town with trendy restaurants and bars that will suit everyone. I stayed in the Barnett room, which is spacious and comfortable. The linens and towels were high quality, the bed was very comfortable, and there were water bottles left out for me. I slept very well and each morning Joan prepared a five-star breakfast. She asked me what time I'd prefer to eat and provided options to suit my tastes. They're easy going and willing to share tips on things to do around town if you're interested. Highly recommend if you're in the area and would definitely come back. Booking: Easy online booking. Had every room listed separately with their own photos, pricing and availability. Made is easy to pick the room you wanted. Only other thing that would have been good was to add maybe a blue print of the home with each room marked on it so you had a better visual to where your room was in regards to the main roads. Service: Pre-communication was great! Jamie contacted us via text to confirm the time of arrival and any food or allergy restrictions along with preferred breakfast time. Upon arriving, Todd greeted us and gave us the grand tour and answered any questions that we had. Happy hour was from 4 to 5 each day and we arrived right at four, so it was perfect timing to check in, drop off our things, and grab a free cocktail! Breakfast each morning was right on time and delicious. Recommendations for food and other surrounding activities was provided. Room: The bed and bedding was comfortable and all toiletries were provided. Size of the room was perfect. Our room overlooked the corner of the main street so traffic made it a little noisy so I would probably stay in a different room. Next time I come. However, earplugs were provided on your bedside table upon checking in. The only thing that could have made the room better is brighter lighting or some type of vanity for applying make up and doing your hair. The lighting in the bathroom was OK but not as well lit as you would need when getting ready for the day. Location: The location was ideal! We parked our car upon check-in, and did not get back in it until we left to go home. We walked everywhere. We couldn't have found a better location that was far enough from the busy part of Amelia Island, but close enough for everything to be in walking distance.

This location is close enough to home (Savannah) and far enough that I don't get bothered by the drive there and back. We pulled up on an extremely rainy Friday night in December, and the drive down the driveway was so lovely! I felt like Horse Stamp Inn was eagerly awaiting my arrival. December may be a dreary month to visit because of the cold and the rain, but it's lovely for all the holiday decor! Pam greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the home. We were the only couple staying that weekend so we were able to glance at all the rooms. They even have an elevator! We stayed in the Seabiscuit room, which is the most luxurious room they have to offer. You'll be presented with a bed made for a Queen, all the pillows you can imagine, a day bed, a large walk in closet, a jacuzzi spa and his and her shower (one shower, two shower heads) and sink. Plus you have access to the private balcony that overlooks the home's entrance, with a view of the horses Belle and Sarge in a distance. I'm telling you, you'll feel like a Queen. Downstairs they had a coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar, with lemonade and sweet tea set out too. Tim and Pam were lovely hosts that really made us feel welcomed and cared for. I'm not going to reveal what breakfast consisted of, nor did I take any pictures of that, so I'll leave it to the Innkeepers to surprise you with that. I don't want to ruin the breakfast part of your stay! I highly recommend this to any couple considering a getaway!
