Encinitas is really nice so they have a great location! Parking available on the street, womens locker area also has shower and bathroom. The hot yoga class was solid however just way too hot for me as it was at probably 105F and with the humidity, was just too much for me. I used to practice this style a lot when I was in my 20s and 30s but lately I just dont enjoy how hot it gets, and because I sweat profusely, the shift in fluid loss and electrolytes is just too much for me. I usually have a headache after classes like these and thats what happened. I think I could have preemptively assumed this would happen and down a electrolyte pack (which I had on hand) but of course suffer fools gladly haha. Instruction was good and I deeply appreciated being able to practice on xmas! Thank you Yoga Tropics for being open on xmas. Id consider coming back to a less hot class. They also have a great intro offer which is $30 for 10 classes in 1 week, so you really can't beat that! Definitely give this place a try if you enjoy Bikram level hot!

Bubba's hot yoga class is my absolute favorite and I highly recommend checking his class out! He offers options for a challenging practice if you want it (but you can take it more modified if you don't). He is knowledgeable and gives clear instructions, making it easy to follow, disconnect, breathe, and fully work your body. He is super positive and just gives off a really great vibe. The brand-new heater makes the room wonderfully sweaty, enhancing the experience. This studio is truly one of the top yoga spots in Encinitas! I highly recommend checking out this studio!

Summary: Breathe Degrees felt like an ancient bathhouse ritual reborn in modern form...moving…read morethrough heat, breath, and embodied ritual alongside others in a warm, communal flow. This studio is intentionally designed to help you adapt, expand, and feel more alive. One of my favorite studio experiences so far. I genuinely did not want to leave! The Philosophy & First Impression: Before my first visit, I received a welcome video explaining the studio's philosophy: Using breath and hormetic stress (heat, cold, & movement) to grow stronger, healthier, and happier together. Their belief is simple & powerful, "When you take control of your breath, you take charge of your life." When I pulled into the parking lot, I could hear a man inside calling out, "Breathe in... let it go. Breathe in... let it go." (It seriously felt like the building was breathing.) The Space: I was warmly welcomed by staff who helped me check in, sign a waiver, and gave me a wristband and a full tour. The studio includes: a sauna; a cold plunge room; a yoga room; an AQUATru filtered water station; cubbies, dressing rooms, and a bathroom; and a lounge room with an educational video on their method The Class (Vinyasa Flow & Breath 90): The yoga room was arranged in a circular formation, so we faced one another, creating a shared presence & community. The class itself was an intermediate, heated power vinyasa with a smooth, steady breath-to-movement flow. Wendi cued in Sanskrit followed by English and layered in breath cues and gentle inward-turning suggestions in grounded poses. After a steady standing series, we moved into deep stretching and incredible twisting and detoxifying poses on the ground. The Breathwork Experience: After yoga, we were guided onto our backs with padded eye masks waiting for us. Wendi led us through three rounds of open-mouth inhales and exhales ("Breathe in, let it go"), followed by Mula Bandha and long-breath holds. During one of the holds, I received a neck and shoulder massage with peppermint oil, and I could feel the cooling, soothing effect immediately. The third round was the most powerful, with reminders that our bodies were fully oxygenated. After the final exhale, we were released into savasana. Wendi closed with a beautiful reflection about looking back on our day, our week, our month, our life and saying, "It was a wild and wonderful ride," which perfectly described the whole experience. The Teacher: Wendi was incredibly welcoming, thorough, and present. She took time one-on-one beforehand to explain and demonstrate the breathwork, which is essential for a sense of safety. After class, she stayed to connect personally and encouraged me to explore the sauna and cold plunge. She definitely holds a grounded, confident, and supportive container. The Sauna & Community Vibe: (I forgot a bathing suit for the cold plunge, but I spent time in the sauna.) It was a warm, social gathering space where the energy of the class naturally flowed in. People were connecting, chatting, and relaxing together. It felt like a communal ritual space. Overall Experience: This studio has so much to offer! The integration of breathwork, yoga, heat, cold, and education is genuinely thoughtful (not trendy). It was such a pleasure to experience Breathe Degrees. This is a must for any yoga enthusiast! Practical Note: First-timers must arrive 15 minutes early, no exceptions. This studio prioritizes safety and intentionality.

If you have some aches and pains or even some severe aches and pains, you might want to give this a try if you've tried everything else like I have. The facilities are impeccable very clean. My best suggestion is to try their $69.02 week unlimited classes plunge sauna and hot tub and see if it's something that helps your body recover. Five stars did these guys.

The class I came to was a tootsie roll yoga class. It starts off with some regular yoga and then it turns into an intense foam rolling session. After just getting off a plane, this was a necessary class. The instructor, Anna, really gets you to roll into all your hard to reach places. I've used the foam roller at the gym by myself, but nothing like this. Afterwards, I felt like 1. I actually did a workout and 2. that my body was weirdly relaxed. I was sweating but my muscles felt better than ever. Just from a single class, I could tell that Anna instills a sense of community with her classes. She chatted with me as I was signing up and afterwards she caught up with me and asked me how I liked the class, what I thought of San Diego and just general genuine kind conversation. As the previous class was leaving, I saw her talk to a few of the people as they were leaving and as the new class was coming in, she was chatting with people as they were coming in as well. Overall, one of the best yoga classes I've ever taken. Would highly recommend coming in and taking a class!

Stopped in this weekend to try the Prana Surf Essential Oils class with some friends on ClassPass…read more We were all excited to try a new studio, since one of my friends lives right up the street. The place is tucked into a little shopping center with tons of parking below. You can tell it is more of a hippie vibe than other studios I've been to (the teacher started class talking about the rooms aura). I would have liked a bit more hands on adjustments and a bit less chatting. The into email suggested walking, biking or carpooling and gave a free towel for class if you did so. I thought that was a nice gesture. We must have gotten there as a popular heated class was ending. When walking in the shirtless employees there were still dripping sweat off their faces and down their bodies as they help the next class check in. It was everywhere, literally dripping off of every exposed area of skin on them. The floor of the room was still wet when we were laying down our mats. I'm not typically bothered by sweating next to someone, but something about walking into the studio and seeing that at the front desk put me off. The tablet I used to sign the waiver was wet with this guys sweat. I was surprised to find the class was heated, since the description didn't say anything about that. I go to heated classes at Yoga Six regularly, so I was ok, but I was not fully prepared for it hydration wise and wish I had been forewarned. When getting to the class itself, there were some great postures. The music was good, and the teacher moved us through some tricky postures very well. When concentrating on my practice, I felt that it was a good use of time. I am used to a bit more "flow" and less "do this, now stand up and do this" but I understand that every practice is different. The class ended with a cool towel, which was lovely. To be honest the hard part was not the yoga, but literally everything else. I struggled with this review, but settled on three stars after taking everything into consideration. When we were told to clean off the blocks I followed people to the back of the room to see how that was done. There were two buckets, one presumably with cleaner and one with plain water. They seemed to have been used quite a bit already, and the process of dunking the blocks into the two was my least favorite part of this experience. It makes me wonder if other studios clean their blocks, and if so if this is how. I may be purchasing my own blocks after this. I popped into the bathroom to wash my hands after cleaning the blocks, and found it to be below par. Semi clean with various items and dust about. The soap did not feel like it helped, and I was just happy to get out of there at this point. Overall a small local studio that was friendly but missing the ambiance I'm looking for. In my mind just an A-Ok experience, and one I won't be repeating here.

Your staff needs education on what to do when a car alarm goes off in-front of a bunch of businesses instead of harassing innocent people... THE STAFF HERE ARE CRAZY AND EXTREMELY RUDE They harassed my daughter today because her car alarm was set off by something which is a normal thing that happens all the time in parking lots. You have no right to harass anybody about there car or what you think you know about there car!!! My daughter has an electric car specially just so that she can have her dog in her car in an air conditioned environment and they harassed her about that as well instead of using common sense! They did not go into the business around and ask if that's someone's car which is what you do when someone's car alarm is going off infront of few businesses!
