Came here as I was referred by Mercedes Benz of Hilton Head. My car was reared ended in a car…read moreaccident. I came here for an estimate and was advised the car was drivable. I pointed out the wires hanging and they were just tucked back in by hand. Just to fall out when I drove off. So based on that I went supermarket shopping only to learn that the trunk won't close that was rear ended. So the car then needed to be towed back here. Communication was not the best and I would call to get information constantly. Since parts had to be ordered and the car was a year old the process took seven weeks. All the while no communication and they have my vehicle sitting outside in the back of the building. When it was ready they called and I left my rental there to get picked up. Only to later find out the trunk still did not close. So I have to bring it back and they said it will be awhile. Well since I no longer had a rental I had to wait. Thankfully it was only a couple hours not a half a day. The accident was bad but this place doing the repair just added to my pain and aggravation. The only positive is they worked with the insurance company to get paid.

I went there and they researched tires for my Bike and gave me a price on two tires for $646.45. Most money I have ever spent on motorcycle tires. But apparently, my bike has an odd rear tire size, so I agreed. Prior to ordering the tires they asked me to pay up front for the tires which is totally understandable. So I went by there to pay and schedule an appointment time to install the tires when they arrived. On my bill it is clearly $436.87 for the tires. So I paid for the tires with my credit card. Later, that evening I looked at my receipt and saw that I was not charged the above stated amount - I was charged $454.13. There was an additional charge of $17.26 because I used my credit card. Now, I understand that there is a service charge to the vendor when they accept a credit card payment. Hey, that is "THE COST OF DOING BUSINESS"! But what really bothers me is that I was never informed about the added charge prior to using my card. Had I been told about the charge I would have stopped by the ATM on my way to Cycle Ward and paid in cash. I WAS NEVER TOLD ANYTHING! The next day (Saturday) I called to discuss the issue but they were closed so I sent them an email. They responded to the email on Monday simply stating that that was there credit card policy and they stated that there was a sign on the desk stating the policy. Gee, my Bad. I should have perused the office and desk closely to check for their billing practices. Silly of me for thinking that they would verbally disclose their policy to me and give me the chance to pay is cash prior to the purchase. But, you know what. If they had said to me. I'm sorry we should have made the extra charge clear to you and deducted the extra charge from the final bill - then this would have been a five star review versus a three star review. The work they did was fine (even though they left a socket on my bike which could have flown off and caused problems). BOTTOM LINE: Very unprofessional secretively passing on a charge that is normally paid by the vendor to the customer and worst of all - sticking to their guns when the customer complains.

I went in knowing that I had a wheel bearing needing replacement on the front drivers side. I was quoted that it would be a $90 diagnostic fee. It turns out the diagnostic fee was $190. The diagnosis's came back and I was at a loss for words. I was told that I needed wheel bearing on BOTH the driver and passenger front. I was also informed that the bushings for the control arms needed to be replaced. The cost for this: $2822 plus an alignment @ $125. I informed them that I would be picking up my 2014 Toyota Corolla and doing it myself. I decided to go to Auto Doctors @ 172 Mead Rd Ste C Hardeeville, SC 29927. I told him what was diagnosed by Beachside Auto Care and he said he would diagnose also (No Charge). Jason came back saying that only 1 wheel bearing was bad (the one I thought) and my control arm bushings with showing wear, but did not need repair yet. Total bill from Auto Doctor $425. My wife and I visited Club Car of Hilton Head to look at purchasing a used golf cart. We just…read morewanted something we could use to get around the course as well as our community. With my wife newly taking up the sport, it made sense. Unfortunately due to COVID, inventories of used carts are very low. We arrived at a time when there seemed to be at least 10 others in the showroom and not enough staff to assist everyone. The receptionist was very nice and apologized, but asked us to be patient. Shortly aftewards, Mac Andrews, the owner, sat down with us to discuss our options. We found a very nice E-Z Go cart which was in excellent condition. It didn't take very long, but we made the deal right there. This is a family owned business and Mac's son Ben would be the person listed as the head of sales. We took the cart for a quick test drive through the parking lot and fell in love immediately. As a family owned business, they work extra hard for customer satisfaction. Mac asked if we wouldn't mind letting them work on polishing the cart, adding new batteries and all new tires before delivering to our door. One week later, we now have a great cart. Bruce is the person who works with Mac and Ben who delivered the cart and went over every detail from upkeep to standard maintenance. They offer a $99 package to do a full annual check up after 1 year. We'll definitely take them up on it. Great job!!
