Let me start off by saying place is adorable. This is just a review for the to-go-box of 4 s'mores…read morefor $20. Absolutely not worth it. The kit comes with 4 small size regular marshmallows (nothing home made) and 4 TINY pieces of chocolate that wouldn't even cover one s'more. It's all Graham cracker one marshmallow and a smidge of chocolate. See photos. Yes they include a tiny bit of caramel sauce and peanut butter sauce on the side, but I'm sorry, these don't even make complete s'mores. More expensive ingredients...ok. But not including enough to make an ok s'more is odd. The Graham crackers are also run of the mill. Maybe try the s'mores made there? A take home kit your better off getting a bag of large marshmallows, higher end grahams and a nice block of fancier chocolate for $20. I have ZERO problem spending premiums on food and good ingredients...but this kit is a rip off do not do it.

I'm not really a s'mores person, but wanted to check it out since it was new. The owner (I presume) said they've been open for about 3 months now. Décor was cute inside. They have kits you can purchase or you can order individual s'mores. They have a vegan option too, so you'll have plenty to choose from. Good service. Small s'mores, but I guess the vegan and organic ingredients make them a bit on the pricier side ($7-8/s'more). Not complaining, just thought they would be a bit bigger. But I guess I don't need the extra spike in blood sugar anyway, so it's all good. The Classic was good. I ordered mine with oat milk chocolate. This place is still new, so hope folks check it out. It reminded me of a s'mores shop in Portland, Oregon.

When I was leaving, I saw my old yelp review in the window! We took my 2 year old son also, and he was also very impressed with the food and service :) We made a reservation for 2 and a highchair, and our table was already set up (highchair included) when we walked in. As a former restaurant employee myself, I know how much the little details like that matter, and Allmine definitely takes pride in making their customers feel comfortable.

Walked into a busy, hot and crowded room that smelt like absolute dough heaven. I've been trying my best to cut out gluten and cheese from my diet and saw online that they had vegan pizza! To my surprise they had a whole vegan menu...amazing. I also ordered one of their many non-alcoholic options- a Riesling wine, really hit the spot. I had a lovely server who took the time out of very busy wave (not to mention only 2 people on the floor) to describe the whole menu to me, he was very kind and attentive. The pizza shown in the picture is a vegan BBQ smoke show, with their authentic Italian flour dough- although not gluten free (I'm not a fan of cauliflower dough) i left not feeling 'sick' or bloated. I was beyond happy that the pizza wasn't lacking in flavor or looks, very well done. If i could have devoured my pizza in one sitting i would have, but i had to bring it home. The space was hot and muggy but sometimes that's where a lotttt of magic happens! First impression was a hit, will definitely be back to test it out again!

(People did start trickling in around 6pm and the place was full.) We were seated at a booth. We couldn't decide on what to order and all the ones we were interested in were on the Family Tasting menu so we order that along with a Black Sesame Budino, a pot of Blue Chamomile tea (I was told that I could use it 30 times and was given it to take home to have more. I must say it really lasts about 15 before the flavor and color fades when soaking it for 3 mins), and a Melville. Everything was delicious but our favorite was the jiaozi with doubanjiang butter with scallop shrimp and charred pineapple which blew us away. The menu changes with the seasons which gives you an opportunity to return to try something new.

We ordered about half of the menu but the standouts were the swordfish birds nest, the beautifully wrapped jaozi, and the Seitoku sake. My only qualm is the ambiance left a bit to be desired, especially with a Michelin title. Aside from this, my friend and I really enjoyed our dinner and would recommend if you're looking for a nice dinner spot in the Oceanside area.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that this was probably one of the best meals and dining experiences…read moreI've ever had! Jeune Et Jolie is a one-Michelin-star restaurant that specializes in modern French cuisine with influences from the California coast and local ingredients. They're known for their fixed price ($120 per person) 4-course menu that changes with the seasons. I won't bore you with a meticulous breakdown of every dish that we ordered, but they were indeed all delish! Minds were blown every single time. Flavors and ingredients were so intentionally spotlighted, paired, and enjoyed. Loved every bite! Our favorites were the Bavarois D'ete and the Saint Jacques. The whole course was really well paced. I'd say we spent a total of 2 hours there. In addition to the 4 main courses, we also got an amuse bouche, a small intermission course, and a surprise treat at the end (truffles!). We left absolutely stuffed. Their team was also top tier! Super attentive (our water glass was never not full), super informative (every dish came with a short & sweet yet thoughtful explanation), and super welcoming (even though it's 1000% an upscale dining experience, the laidback SD vibe never really left). Definitely a local gem that's worth the visit!

Went here as a family for a birthday dinner. Arrived on time for our reservation and were seated…read morepromptly. My daughter was given a birthday card signed by all of the staff. We chose to dine outdoors which was very nice. It was a balmy August evening and nice to dine outdoors. No heat lamps were needed but they have them for cooler nights. The only downside was the train noise which was a minor annoyance. As an aside, when going inside to use the restroom it was very hot and apparent that there's no air conditioning and an open kitchen. Might want to dine outdoors until this rare San Diego heat wave passes. From beginning to end the service was very professional, yet friendly. We were well taken care of. We were promptly met at the table and provided water and drink orders taken. Service was well orchestrated with a nice pace. The four course prix fixe menu ($120) lasted 2.5 hours. The restaurant is advertised as 'French' but I'd describe the cuisine as French nouvelle/New American/Californian. The serve a four-course prix fixe menu, along with an amuse bouche, a bread course and a final chocolate bite, so seven dishes overall. Serving sizes are reasonable and I was the only one to leave hungry (big guy, works out a lot). In my opinion, all of the dishes here were very good but, with the exception of the yellowtail crudo, none of them was over the top. Desert was served with a candle for the birthday girl. Nice touch! The wine list here is almost entirely French with a couple of California wines also on the list. We did the wine pairing ($120) and all of the wines on this list are French. I found all of the wines, except the desert wine (port like) to be mediocre. The kids did the Sans Esprit ($80) which they enjoyed very much. The only negative here is the 4% surcharge added to the bill. It's noted in the small print at the bottom of the menu, so it's strictly legal. However, I personally find upcharges distasteful and not becoming of a restaurant trying to present itself as having great service. I typically subtract this from the tip.
