I shopped here a few years ago and had a really great experience, which is why I decided to return. Unfortunately, my visit today was very disappointing. I received little to no assistance and was hardly acknowledged when I walked in. I was actively looking at shoes, and the sales associate remained seated at the register without offering help or asking if I needed a size. I found this to be quite rude, as basic customer service would be to acknowledge and assist someone who is clearly browsing. Can't recommend Good Times enough. Locally owned and operated by some real rad folks, I'm always thrilled to re-up on my running shoes here. The staff always greets me so warmly. There are little fidget things for the kiddos to play with while their parents get the VIP treatment with shoe fittings. Plenty of runway to take your running shoes for a test jog and lots of inventory to choose from. Because they're locally owned and operated, they're often involved in the community happenings including the YMCA Turkey Trot and numerous other races. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting the Good Times Running crew last weekend. We were instantly greeted upon arrival and even though they were extremely busy, they made time to make sure we were seen. Once it was our turn, the owner sized both my husband and I for gosh, nearly 45 minutes. He answered all of our questions, sized, fitted, and helped us get our gear fit for our needs. Overall feel like I got a very personalized experience with Maryann. She took the time to measure my feet, examine my stance and walking/jogging motion and gave me a bunch of shoe recommendations based on my goals/needs. Our second try we went to Good Times. It was a remarkable customer experience. Our sales person was very knowledgeable, and helped guide her through finding the best shoes. I'm a huge fan of Hoka, I'm on my 10+ pair, it's a addiction so when I was looking for a new pair I found this place. I called up and spoke with a really nice woman who told me they did have Hoka and had a large selection. I went in and this little place was packed with people. Went over and checked out their selection which wasn't nearly as large as every place I've ever bought a pair was. I was super disappointed because I drove a ways to get here. They had the Bondi 8 in colors that I wasn't loving. Again the selection was not big. I wanted black and white or a more neutral shoe and darker also which they did not have. They also had so many people in the store that it wasn't really possible to check everything out. They did have a sale table with Bondi 7s which I do love. The only pair they had that I liked were neon orange. They look good but just bright. I got them because they were on big sale, almost 40% off. This is actually the first pair I've gotten that were on sale. I also had to get them a 1/2 size smaller because of stock which is understandable. I just wish they had a nicer selection, so disappointing. read more

I'm sure sales tactics are different today then in the 20's when he started, he needs to get with the times.
