That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it really stands out. The shop itself has also come a long way. It's clean, bright, and noticeably more organized than it used to be -- you can tell real investments are being made in the space and the overall experience. The selection is strong (especially if you're into mezcal/tequila), and I've even seen them walk purchases out and help customers load up their cars. I go here often, but I'll probably start using delivery sometimes too -- I'm always seeing their clean van out front getting loaded with orders, which is a good sign they're on it. That said, the store is honestly becoming a pretty cool stop on its own. The selection and pricing are what you'd expect from a strip center liquor store, which means you won't find anything that knocks your socks off. Their selection is pretty generic and if you comparison shop, their prices are higher than many other local liquor stores. I've always felt talked down to, but it didn't bother me until their sommelier leveled a personal attack against me online (attached picture). When I came into the store to seek clarification, the manager, Chris, acknowledged that their wine expert could "be a bit of a hothead." His words, not mine. If I were you, I'd look at better local options or shop at one of their competitors on Drizly. I hope this store improves because Colorado desperately needs good wine, beer, and spirits stores.
