I was pulling into this gas station and my right front tire hit the curb and popped my tire I didn't notice at first. I went in to pay for gas and the first female attendant I spoke with was very warm in friendly. As I was pumping gas I noticed my tire so I pulled my car over into a parking spot to wait for AAA. Another female attendant (arriving for her shift) pulled up next to me and VERY rudely said "I'm parking there you have to move. As I started to explain my tire situation she said "Not my problem, move." As I tried to say I couldn't move my tire is now completely flat she drove away in the middle of my sentence and parked somewhere else. Not only did I get the flat tire driving into this station but I also paid money for gas so I was also a customer. If this is how Mobil treats paying customers who are also clearly in distress I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I pulled up here today with two nearly flat tires. I needed air and unfortunately didn't have my wallet or cards on me. I remembered that it's CA mandated for gas stations to provide free air/water. I asked the gentleman at the counter (didn't get his name) to press the air button but for at least 10 minutes, he vehemently declined. Later he revealed that he was afraid of getting fired because management had instructed him to charge $1 for air. He eventually pressed the button (thank you). I had to call LAPD after he literally told me to call the police because he wasn't going to change his mind, so I did. Non emergency and asked for no dispatch, just for the operator to help nudge him (she was incredibly helpful). That worked, but I genuinely feel terrible that he's in a position where he's afraid of getting fired for providing free air (as is prescribed by law). This is by far the worst mobile station, clerks are rude and get really offensive even if you ask nicely, they're open 24/7 so sometimes there's nowhere else to go when it's early morning or late at night; one time I went to purchase a Coke and they wanted to sell it to me for $3! Something you can get anywhere else for $0.69... Another time I went I bought what it was going to be a quick breakfast and they gave me wrong change (they were $5 short) when I went back there to let them know the clerk denied everything and long story short they still owe me that money... I live around the block and needed gas so I swung by this Good Service Mobile on my way home cause I had a long day and didn't want to drive the extra two blocks to the cheaper Arco. I looked inside to see if they sold beer so I could save a stop on the way home- saw they didn't- and went back to get gas. The employee came outside and, while staring at me, circled my car completing some simple tasks like seeing if the garbage was full. After I finished getting gas I was getting back into my car and he came up to me, pointed to a bunch of spilt coffee five feet behind me car on the opposite side, and accused me of spilling the coffee there. Now, I don't know if it was the fact that I was wearing a tank top (just came straight from the gym) or what but I don't appreciate meaningless accusations on my way home from work. This is the most expensive gas for a mile or two (to my knowledge) AND the rest of the gas station was absolutely disgusting and covered in sticky coffee remnants anyways. Maybe spend less time making accusations and more time creating a clean and welcoming environment. Absolutely avoid this place. read more

Pulled in to this Mobil gas station and pulled up to the air station. Attempt to put gas but find out my tire has a big gash in the side. Start to change the tire (which only took 5 mins by the way) and a old decrepit lady drives up claiming to be the owner. and tells me to move my car off the property! It's tempting to pull in here because it's right off the freeway, but if you go a little further down the street there's an arco with much better service and much cheaper gas. I fueled up here because it was so close to my apartment, thinking it would be convenient and time-efficient. I realized it was overly expensive only after I drove past other gas stations in the area, and the experience turned out to be an ordeal because of wanting to check on tire pressure. The guy inside gave me SUCH a hard time. He wouldn't turn the air on for me. I asked nicely. **I interrupt this review for a Public Service Announcement: California Bill AB 531 has been around since 1999, and it requires service stations to provide FREE water, compressed air, and a gauge for measuring tire pressure to customers who pay for motor fuel.** (I wish I'd known that off the top of my head.) Instead, I just smiled and said I'd gotten gas already. He maintained that I wasn't a paying customer so I'd have to feed the machine quarters. I pointed out that I had gotten gas, and it's illegal to charge for air. He still refused to turn the machine on for me. Luckily, I had a receipt, so I went to the car, brought it back as proof and finally got the air I needed. But never have I had such terrible service at a service station. I was a little miffed the cashier would call me a liar in front of a long line of customers (a line which only formed because he was busy denying me service). My dad had no issues when he visited, so I don't know if that guy was hassling me because I'm a lady or I'm young... or maybe people so frequently try to get free air that he can no longer knows an honest face when he sees one. I work at universal studios as i'm coming down the Hill and 1:30 am my air pressure light turns on .. I put 3 quarters .. 75 cent in the machine and it does not turn on .. I wait a bit because it can be delayed and nothing .. I walk inside and tell the cashier excuse me I just put 75 in the machine for air and it's not turning on .. He says you have to put it in there 1 at a time I said .. Yes I did that .. He says well what do you want me to do .. I say can you turn the machine on .. He say no what do you expect me to do .. Do NOT come here. Their customer service is awful. I had a very low tire, I put money in their air machine, but it did not work. When I went inside as a courtesy to let DAYA their station attendant know that it was broken, he said it was not his fault that the machine wasn't working. I said that I understood it was not his fault, but that it is broken, needs to be fixed, and that I would like a refund. He shook his head angrily in disagreement and then slapped 3 quarters down on the counter in front of me and said, "you a crazy lady." This place is great. The location in so convenient, right off the freeway and no matter how late at night I stop there, it's always very clean and feels safe. I've stopped there numerous times on my way to the office to either gas up, or pick up a few items to get me through my day, and the staff is always super polite, accommodating and helpful. I was once having some issues with my card, and a nice lady came out, I think she may be the owner, and helped me figure out what was going on. It was a really hot day, and I was grateful that she did not leave me standing out there and struggling with my card. Not sure what all these comments are below but I couldn't disagree more! And here is why.... I frequent this station a lot and last night my car finally broke down on me ! I was rushing to an interview and the timing couldn't have been more awful ! Mona (the owner) to the rescue ! She was so sweet and took a personal interest in my safety and even helped me find an affordable tow truck company ! They showed up fairly quick and she was consoling me the whole time. Her staff was so accommodating and even offered me a complimentary hot tea since it was freezing outside ! I've never had service like that in my life. The owner, manager, and the clerks are extremely rude!! I've never been treated so bad. I will NEVER come back to this place. If you ever have car issues don't pull into this station. They will not help you at all. My car overheated,I barely made it to the gas station. I bought coolant and it started leaking. I was able to park it in a safe spot. I told the clerk I'm having car issues and a tow truck will pick it up 1st thing in the morning and was leaving him my information in case they need to reach me... before I was able to to that.. he says, you need to move your car or I will tow it out of here. I explained it's not drivable and he could care less. I ask to speak with the manager, and she was even worst. WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. Overpaid by about $1/gallon to fill up my tank. When I went in to use the washroom afterwards the attendant picked up the men's room key but then stopped and asked me if I bought gas. I said yes. He didn't believe me and began to interrogate me over which pump I was at. There was only one other car at the pumps besides mine. He said the bathroom was for customers only. I assured him that I literally just bought gas, but again he didn't believe me. He seemed to want more money than what I had just paid for gas. When I told him it's illegal to charge customers money to use the bathroom he suddenly changed his story and said the bathroom was out of order and put the key back behind the counter. I said, "You just held the key and told me I could only use the bathroom if I bought gas," he just alternated between muttering "Did you buy gas?" and "Bathroom is broken." The cashier is a moron and cancelled my transaction when I tried to pay with the credit option on my debit card. Then when I tried to use the card again with the debit option, it said invalid card. And he wouldn't accept it as credit or a different credit card. After his error triggered the Frau protection at my bank. He suggested I use their ATM with a six dollar fee. All because their "store policy" is not to accept credit cards on propane tank purchases. That's bullshit. They just don't want to pay the credit card processing fee and would rather pass it along to the customer. Fuck you, Mobil. read more
