Great food with reasonable prices. Ribs are very good as well. Burgers are large and very well cooked.

    R Bar-N-Grill - Loaded hashbrowns

This place has came highly recommended for years, and we finally made it!…read more Their breakfast is amazing. We love the à la cart style - allowing you to order exactly what you want. I got biscuits and gravy, with one egg, and loaded hashbrowns. The portion was huge and it was delicious. My husband got the chicken fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns. The portion, again, was huge. He said it was the best chicken fried steak he's ever had! We were there on a Saturday morning. By the time we left (about 10:30am) they had run out of orange juice and biscuits with gravy. I recommend getting there early if you want the full menu. The bar/restaurant is unassuming and typical for Wisconsin, but the food on the other hand, is not typical. Service was fast despite one bartender/server taking care of the bar and tables. We highly recommend R-Bar-N-Grill for breakfast!

NOTE: R Bar-N-Grill does NOT accept credit cards. They have an ATM available with a $3 surcharge,…read morebut to make up for that they will give you $3 off a drink IF you use the redemption code that's printed on the ATM receipt. Be warned instead of unaware like I was. My brother and I were passing through Plainfield a couple days ago and wanted to stop somewhere for lunch. Options weren't plentiful, but R Bar-N-Grill stood out because of Friday fish fry options like lake perch and bluegill. I ordered cheese curds as an appetizer and the bluegill with sour cream and chive fries at an upcharge while my brother ordered broccoli cheddar bites as an appetizer with a cheeseburger and regular fries. Both the cheese curds and broccoli cheddar bites were pretty basic, like what you'd get out of a frozen box. The curds had a beer battered flavor, which is nice, but the small potion disappointed me. Even at a reasonable $4.25, I don't think the amount I received was worth it. My brother said his cheeseburger was seasoned well and the bun had a nice toastiness to it, but the cheese wasn't melted and seemed to have a fake quality similar to Kraft Singles. His regular fries were not salted at all. His quote at the end of his meal was "edible, but not favorable." Chive fries are always good, especially with the sour cream sauce to dip them in. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the sour cream sauce with my fries and didn't even realize it until I was almost done. Oh well. The bluegill pieces weren't huge, but I received eight of them and they tasted great, especially after I recently had bluegill elsewhere that wasn't very good. If you like bluegill, I recommend it at R Bar-N-Grill.

It's always a great time at Mo's!! Summer weekends feature music from top notch musicians from all…read moreover WI, and neighboring states. Winter at Mo's has a lot of snowmobile & ice fishing groups pile in, mainly due to the lake access near Mo's. Don't forget the meat raffle, karaoke, various contests, fisheries... I whole heartedly support this business because of their constant giving back to the community. They adore & value Veterans & public servants (Police, firemen, etc). The food is absolutely wonderful, and the staff is constantly working their tails off, while being courteous and attentive. It can get pretty crowded and loud, especially for special food nights (Fish Fry & Prime Rib Saturday). Definitely come a bit earlier than your normal dinner time to ensure seating. And if a packed place isn't your cup of tea, order some grub for pick up to see why their food is some of the best!

Called in a take out order for fish fries. Now, I know that prices have gone up, up, up recently…read morebut take note: there is an extra $3.00 PER MEAL takeout fee! The fish fries were around $17.00 and weren't that great. Twenty bucks for a half-a$$ed fish fry. They advertise potato pancakes but these impersonators were a. burnt, b. paper thin, c. almost tasteless, and d. greasy. The coleslaw was pretty good. The rye bread was totally inedible- super dry. The fish was okay. I don't plan on returning. But beware of hidden charges that isn't mentioned in any advertising or on the phone when you call in an order.
