It's always a great time at Mo's!! Summer weekends feature music from top notch musicians from all over WI, and neighboring states. Winter at Mo's has a lot of snowmobile & ice fishing groups pile in, mainly due to the lake access near Mo's. Don't forget the meat raffle, karaoke, various contests, fisheries... I whole heartedly support this business because of their constant giving back to the community. They adore & value Veterans & public servants (Police, firemen, etc). The food is absolutely wonderful, and the staff is constantly working their tails off, while being courteous and attentive. It can get pretty crowded and loud, especially for special food nights (Fish Fry & Prime Rib Saturday). Definitely come a bit earlier than your normal dinner time to ensure seating. And if a packed place isn't your cup of tea, order some grub for pick up to see why their food is some of the best! read more

Called in a take out order for fish fries. Now, I know that prices have gone up, up, up recently but take note: there is an extra $3.00 PER MEAL takeout fee! The fish fries were around $17.00 and weren't that great. Twenty bucks for a half-a$$ed fish fry. They advertise potato pancakes but these impersonators were a. burnt, b. paper thin, c. almost tasteless, and d. greasy. The coleslaw was pretty good. The rye bread was totally inedible- super dry. The fish was okay. I don't plan on returning. But beware of hidden charges that isn't mentioned in any advertising or on the phone when you call in an order. read more

Mo's, Not a fancy place, just the place for a good sandwich, fish fry, Prime Rib..... well you get the idea.... and a cold beer and good service at a fair price. They have outdoor activities like a swing set for the kids, sand volleyball and places to enjoy a view of the lake. Inside you'll find pool and darts. It's not like the nearby Sand Valley Resort where the Rich and Famous jet in for a weekend of golf. It's where the locals go. read more

Considering it was obvious they were working short of help (like everyplace else since 2020), the food was great, the prices were reasonable the service was prompt and friendly and the place appeared clean. Great hamburger. Great soup. Hardworking employees, all doing their best! Shame on the filthy slobs who were so kindly allowed to bring their dog in and then didn't clean up it's "crap." Fish fry was terrible. Cod, potato pancakes, slaw. How could they go so wrong?! Flavorless, not edible. Baked cod was dry, potato pancake tasted and looked like fried flour cakes. It had no potato flavor, no onion or garlic but was sweet, yuck. And the slaw mix was thick and gluey. I ate the dry fish and threw the rest of it away. $15 in the trash. NEVER again! read more

Oof! That was a rough one! Loud. Very loud. Mostly due to the clientele but nonetheless, it made for an uncomfortable meal. It's great that they advertise that their beef for their burgers is never frozen but it doesn't help much when the burgers are cooked beyond recognition. Dry. Flavorless. Hard pass. Hard to do a review as I'm torn. We really enjoy the Friday night Fish, but the Service is the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. Third time here and third time we had to chase a waitress down. Even though we were the only ones sitting in the back dining room. Usually order drinks, then have to wait or remind them. Too much screwing around going on in the kitchen. Hard to have a decent conversation with your table as they keep the kitchen door open and still manage to yell at each other. Good thing no younger kids were eating nearby as the word "Fuck" in many different ways was the popular choice. Very odd and off workers. We decided we will look for a different place for Fish. If you enjoy a good Fish fry, this is the place. Five stars if you enjoy lazy rude and unaware workers. read more

I recently went to MO's for a Friday fish fry. I knew it would be busy because of the packed parking lot. I joined a small group standing by the sign saying please wait to be seated. I was fine with that and expected to wait some time. However after everyone from groups before me and after me were seated, I noticed not a single one of the wait staff even acknowledged me even though they contined to walk past me. I still waited for a half hour and couldn't so much as get any of the staff to look at me so I left. I heard good things about their fish but after this experience I will never know if it was good. Terrible Bartender & Terrible Service! Regular customers and bartender were making fun of people. I will never come back

We usually go to Mo's on Fridays for the fish fry, but lately the bartender, Nikki has just been terrible to us she makes us sit there until she is good and ready to serve us. I can see if it was busy but there was only a hand full of customers in the bar. This has happened to us on three occasions. So we are done with Mo's because of the way Nikki treated us. Went to Mo's for the fish fry on Aug 5, 22 with another couple. Was working outside in the heat for the entire day so I wanted to start with a glass of ice water. The bitchy female bartender stated that she only has water in a bottle that I would have to pay for. I told her I didn't want anything to drink. A few minutes later I asked a young male bartender for a glass of ice and he began filling it with water. The female bartender yelled at him and said water was only available for purchase. He continues to fill my glass and gave it to me. He shrugged his shoulders and frowned. The young female bartender needs to find a different job...I'll NEVER visit this place again. read more

They only take cash, but have an ATM (charges a fee) inside. The location with the water views are great! I like the comfortable feeling of this small town bar. It seemed to be a mix of locals and others around the bar watching the game. It was good to see that they had some craft beer (New Glarus) on tap. I would suggest to try their 'mini'. It's a mini pitcher (about 40 oz or so) for about $4. They served my first tap in a frosty mug. YUM! Very refreshing on a hot day working outside. We shared a philly sandwich (comes with chips).The philly needs more meat and cheese! A big disappointment altogether. The chips were good though. It was fun to sit and listen to the locals razing each other and some of the conversations around the bar. The prices are super reasonable and we will back to try something else on the menu next time. read more

Friday night fish fry waiting for 2 hours for our food and still haven't got our order!!! Just so unacceptable !!!

This is a great spot to get in some pool, a little arcade and some slots. We ordered some waffle fries, which we got in a timely manner, Drinks and shots are at great cheap prices. Nice staff and the fellow patrons were also very nice to talk to. read more

Finally we went to Mo's on a Saturday night and had the king cut prime rib done medium rare. Added four shrimp for three dollars extra. Great food! We ate at the bar and the service was awesome as usual. Fat Squirrel on tap for $2.50 per pint. read more

I've brought my family here for fish fry more times than I can count. Mo's has a wonderful waitstaff. It's a small restaurant with a bar, and the bar is a little larger than the dining area. So expect a wait for a fish fry if you arrive after 5pm on Fridays. Mo's is especially popular in the summer time with lots of traffic from the "up north" tourist crowd. Winters are a little quieter - especially weeknights when your waiter / waitress might also happen to be the bartender. In addition the super fish fry, Mo's has really good Chili and an awesome quarter pound burger with fries. The fish fry can be ordered with potato pancakes and apple sauce which we like. My family loves the atmosphere. The dining area is tastefully decorated with wildlife prints and taxidermy mounted game fish native to Wisconsin. There's also a gas fireplace. The service is just the best, and I think that is what keeps us coming back. The prices are fair and the food is delicious. It's definitely casual dining. Some customers eat their meal right at the bar, or at a mini-table nearby. There's a pool table and arcade games along with a digital jukebox. So there's a few things to do if you're waiting to be seated. It's a cash only restaurant - no charge cards - which is a little inconvenient. There are lots of daily specials we haven't tried yet. But we have been enjoying Mo's for years and will definitely be back to try some of those specials. Highly recommended for fun, tasty, affordable family dining. read more

This is an excellent little gem on the side of the highway. It's mostly fried food but the taste is great . The service is top notch . It's mostly a bar area with a small dining area off to one side. Kids are welcomed and there's even a few claw candy machines . It can be loud sometimes but hey it's a bar not a fine dining restaurant. If Aaron Rodgers stops in for a bite you it has to be good . Watch your step going in and out . You will enjoy this happy little bar with full hearted service. Writing this review is making me hungry!! read more

Straight up bar food. Nothing more nothing less. I took a risk and went with the prime rib and was a bit disappointed. A little rubbery and not much flavor going on. Overall the place was nice and the service was extremely quick but it was not very busy. If I ever stop again maybe stick with the burger. read more

From the homemade chili to the Saturday night prime rib everything is great. treat yourself to the "pig wings" you won't be disappointed . special homemade barbeque sauce is sweet and tangy Be prepared for a wait for the Friday night fish fry. the walleye filet is larger than the plate waffle fries awesome too nice and crisp. staff is super friendly ,Mo's is a family run business and you can see it in the way customer's are treated . Worst experience at a restaurant that I've ever been to. Not only did we wait over an hour and a half and still did not get sat, but we glanced into the dining room and noticed that there was only one table sat and seven available. So we decided to take our food to go which still took a half hour. And every time the waitress ran past us we tried to get her attention and she ignored us. A Friday fish fry that can't be beat! I have a hard time deciding whether to have the perch, walleye, or cod. If I get the walleye, I always hope my wife doesn't finish her cod, so I can get a bite. A family run place where they all work very hard to make sure there customers have good food to eat. Their bartender Stephanie is awesome and probably the BEST bartender in the area.
