I've been using GMSS for about 6 months now. It took me some time to get used to it as it felt kind of weird - unnatural - at first. Very quickly however, I noticed I was sleeping so much more soundly, and that was proof enough to keep with it. The trick is to just relax and put only as much suction pressure as you need on your tongue. I can't use a mouth guard style apparatus as I have some dental implants. I also didn't qualify for a CPAP machine during my sleep study since I didn't stop breathing "enough" to qualify under insurance. When I found GMSS, I was thrilled! I sleep so much better, I feel better in the morning, and my hubby gets a quieter, better night's sleep, too. Tried it for a while. It didn't work for me. Even when it stayed in my mouth SnoreLab said I was still snoring quite a bit. It also hurt my tongue but I imagine my tongue would have toughened up and gotten used to it. Wish it had worked as what I'm using now - SnoreRx - works but does give me jaw pain. I tried to return the GMSS but it had been longer than the 30 days at that point. Even though just over they said there were no exceptions. So be careful if you're not sure you want it. I bought a family pack so I'm out $130. Oh well. My fault but still a bummer. read more

Such a brilliant invention! I wear it every night. My dentist was impressed with the simplicity of the Good Morning Snore Solution and confirmed that it is perfectly safe to wear all night. I gave one to my son for his TMJ. The trick, for me, is to relax my tongue and my jaw so the device has room to rest comfortably. I'm not your typical snorer -- female, fairly fit, side-sleeper, age 50-ish -- but for some reason about 18 months ago I suddenly started to wake up with severe dry mouth from mouth-breathing and my sleeping partner complained of snoring noises. I've tried nasal strips, Flonase, and daily Claritin, all of which seem to help a bit, but none consistently eliminates the dry mouth. I tried KristaNiteTM Anti-Snoring Nose Vents, and (1) they hurt, (2) I worried about cleanliness, and (3) I lost the small ones that fit me. Apparently when I'm sleeping my tongue relaxes to block my throat and then the deep, moist vibration of air through the nasal passages begins. (I suspect that for about a year my reading glasses pressed on my lower nose and has permanently collapsed the tissue. That's the only thing that changed in my life, and my tiny nose does seem semi-collapsed on the lower part.) I track my sleep movements and sound using a nearly-free Android app called "Sleep as Android". In the morning I can view my movements and replay any recordings made. I don't have to rely on a partner to tell me if I snored or to imitate my sounds! When I sleep with the GMSS in all night (usually replaced at least once), it IS a quieter night. I even played the sounds for my ENT. (Btw, he couldn't find any one good reason for my snoring. He offered some alternatives, but couldn't really say any one would work. I'm not going to do anything invasive for now.) It didn't take me long to get used to the GMSS. In fact, it's become like a pacifier! Drooling and tongue soreness were not a problem. I've tried both with and without my tongue firmly in the suction part, and I think it works better with the suction when I go to sleep. It seems to stay in place longer. I find it very comfortable. In fact, one morning I woke up and thought, "Dang, it fell out again!" but really, it was still in my mouth! Buy the two-pack. You might lose one, the dog might think it's a chew toy, or you might want one for your home and one for your travel bag. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that it does fall out at least once a night (or I remove it). I then have to go on a mid-night hunt to find it under my pillow, on the covers, or on the floor. I haven't slept this good in a long time. My wife is also sleeping better.wink wink. I have almost completely stopped snoring and I'm having vivid dreams that I haven't had in at least ten years. This product really works (for me). I tried everything else...nose strips, Claitain, Flonase, hard plastic jaw repositioners, air purifiers...nothing worked. I use the SnoreLab app to quantify my snoring...it was bad! GMSS worked the first night! I feel it works in two ways; first, the suction tip keeps the tongue from relaxing and blocking your airway. Second, it forces you to breathe thru your nose. If you're stuffy, you may have to use decongestants, but I haven't had any problems. My wife had stopped using ear plugs and punching me to stop snoring. It's been a life saver. It looks a bit weird, like a pacifier, but with the lights off, who cares! There is a bit of drooling and my tongue did get a bit sore, but nothing that would stop me from using this every night. Give this thing a chance! read more

Works very well and seems to have dramatically reduced my snoring, even when I am not using it. The only downside is that it often falls out when I am asleep. As others have noted, it is surprisingly easy to get used to. Occasionally, it causes gum irritation, but this goes away with a night or two of not using it. read more

I hesitated due to the price, however I bought the two as the price was better. I recommend this to any and everyone who snores or for unknown reasons to themselves, awakes suddenly in the night. I have slept straight through the night, without even awakening, since I became use to sleeping with this. I sleep so well now, that I panic if I can't find this device before I sleep. I really notice the difference when I take a nap without it. I will say, the first night I tried it, it was a 'no go!' I thought for sure, I could not do this, It was uncomfortable and I did not sleep well. I tried it a gain a few night later. It was still uncomfortable, but not as bad. Then I decided, with the price I paid, to give it all I could. It only took about a week and I am totally addicted to it. I am sooo glad I have two. (I have tried sleeping without it, just for a test, and had a terrible night.) Yes, I very much recommend this. Takes a while to get used to. Fits in the mouth well. I did have a little discomfort on my gums the first few weeks, but that has stopped. It does cause a little drooling every so often. Occasionally I have spit it out in my sleep and found it in bed or on the floor. You also need to get used to trapping your tongue in the bulb to hold it in place. However, this is a ton better and easier than the stupid CPAP machine. I use it every night. My wife is very happy unless I "forget" to put it in or if I don't get my tongue in correctly. I clean it pretty regularly with Efferdent and keep it in tupperware to keep the cat away. read more

This REALLY worked for me. It took me 6 weeks to adjust to it. My gums and tongue were sore at first. I drooled.....a lot. But in the end it was so worth it! If you have ever worn braces you will remember the adjustment period. With this device, you have two things to adapt to. First the physical appliance in your mouth. It will make your mouth/tongue sore, but it goes away if you persist. Second, your brain needs to get used to the new sleep position with your tongue forward. I wanted to stop using it and I thought I would never get used to it....another too good to be true product. It seems counter-intuitive to keep putting something in your mouth that makes you sore/drool, but don't give up! When you adapt, you will have more energy and wake up ready for a new day! read more

I have tried several different contraptions to stop my snoring and none of them have worked. Many were clunky or hurt my mouth, tongue or jaw and interrupted my sleep. A co-worker recommended the Good Morning Snore Solution so I was immediately excited. I have to admit, the price was a bit of a shock for such a small device but I was desperate. I bit the bullet, paid the price and have been happy ever since. It works amazingly and was not really bothersome to wear. I highly recommend this product but do feel that the company could make it a bit more affordable as I can't imagine the production cost is that much. It's a good product but it still didn't take away my snoring. I compared my snore score with and without GMSS and it did lower my score whenever I used it but like i said, it didn't stop me from snoring. read more

I really think getting something like this online when it is at such a high price point is not the way to go. It's a 30-day​ guarantee but the instructions say it takes 4-6 weeks to get used to the device. I tried to ignore the fact that it was hurting my upper gums for the first month or so, thinking I would get used to it as promised in the directions. The pain never abated. And when life intervenes and you go beyond the 30 day limit due to whatever life events happen, this company, as within its rights, will abide by the 30 day terms. So I am left with a completely useless piece of plastic and have lost $114 for a gambit that, were I not so sleep deprived, I should have recognized was not a reasonable way to purchase a one size can't possibly fit all device. Btw, I did try to get in touch with the company multiple times within the first 30 day period, but the phone tag delay was really annoying. So for busy people, I'd say 30 days to try an item like this is too risky. read more

Simple, effective and clever design, attacking the two main culprits of snoring - mouth-breathing and tongue falling into throat. Have been using it for about 20 months and it has greatly improved my sleep quality and the relationships with all those who had the misfortune of sleeping within earshot of me. In comparison to custom-made devices from your dentist, this is very inexpensive but in terms of production and R&D costs, I can't help but concluding the product is significantly over-priced. That's why I have difficulty talking it up with other sufferers. The first device lasted for about a year before the bulb split. Hoping the current one lasts at least as long. read more
