These type of stores are notorious for that, waiting for the right buyer mentality, both endearing and slightly insane. Is there anything I personally wanted here? Not at all. Even for free? Filing a small claims lawsuit is not possible due to it being her word against mine regarding what items actually sold. I went to the Pickers Daughter last week for the first time with a friend from out of town. The…read moreparking lot is located behind the building and there's also a back door entrance, looks like most people were going in that way. Walking in, it smelled like Christmas, I loved it! I think what we smelled was the Emerald Tea room, there was a bunch of ladies in there sitting around a table. I'd love to come back just to visit that, it smelled amazing! As you're walking around the store, you'll notice that there are lots of cute booths set up with all kinds of random affordable items in each section. There's all kinds of different types of things in the store from jewelry, household decorations, seasonal items, pictures, kitchenware, clothing, pet items, ect all kinds of different inventory! The store is huge by the way it just keeps on going. The cash register is near the front of the building but somewhat in the middle of the store. Tammy, the owner was working the cash register today. I tried to make small talk with her. I know a couple of ladies that have booth rentals here so it was finally nice to go in and check it out. I did buy a couple of items, including a "thankful" cheese platter, little red mushrooms, and a wooden soap dish. Overall, it's a really cute store and I just might have to go back and visit again next month.
