Had to make a journey back home to NJ, from where I currently reside in the DMV (DC/MD/VA) due to losing a family member. So obviously, my smoking levels were higher than normal. Burned thru my sourin drop cartridge the first day I was back, and hopped on yelp to find a place nearby, since I was staying at the Castle, about 20 mins from where my family lives. Found these guys and were SUPER impressed. The one thing about the Tri-State that I miss (other than great food for reasonable prices) are the variety and selection you get. VA cannot compare to the types of CBD they had there, let alone, how reasonable the prices were. I was shocked. And locally sourced?! It was heaven. I actually ended up at two locations in search of a specific juice I'm in love with, and they had it...AND a pleasant surprise juice I love but can't find out here either! Both times the employees were super helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. I believe they were Adem and Deven, but my memory is kinda trash right now, and I might be making one of them up. Anywho, this place exceeded expectations. In my neck of the woods franchise locations are super snobby, lack knowledge and are expensive for no reason. I was pleasantly surprised. Let me start by saying I like shopping here I have shopped hear a handful of times. However as of today I will no longer shop at any of their locations simply because they would not honor the fact that they had a price tag that reflected 2999 for the breeze two and the same for the new version of the breeze yet I was told it was roughly 3799 and they couldn't match the price because then they wouldn't make any money on it even know they're advertising the incorrect price point. Any other retail distributor big box or small brick and mortar would've easily done this. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will tell others to do the same. read more

Was sold a hooka and It didn't work, manger made a customer he knew from Buying stuff that came in because he said after all the talk like he knew he didn't know He help us and the guy just said that it doesn't work as well told Sudan it didn't work, we asked for refund We asked for a refund , he said it would take a couple hours that day or a week.. we were told two weeks ago after calling Sudan a week late that he would call us back which he never did and we had called after 2-3 days and next we called and a lady picked the phone up said she would leave a message to the boss and email and that my bank was holding the money , well as anyone would do you call the bank. My bank told me that they DO NOT hold refunds at all! I called back she picked up, after still not getting it She said AGAIN she would send a email which she said last week. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY. Sudan acted like he knew what he was selling until we came back with it and he made a customer try it and seeing if he knew how to do it which we showed him we didn't everything exactly like the 1000+ videos on YouTube and we showed him. Gotta see my dude Mike Cip at the Parsippany store, this guy is the best. I was planning on my usual 45 minute routine to find a new juice.......not any more, Mike knew somehow exactly what I needed, on the first juice. Prices are as good as you will find without ordering online. Most of the staff are helpful, but occasionally you run into the "Vape-Snob" type. (Only twice, I avoid him now if I can) Most of the staff are very helpful to us folks that are just trying to kick the cigarette habit; probably the largest untapped market that most vapes stores don't cater to enough. I went in the other day to get my first e-cig, not knowing much about it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and guided me right to the "beginner's" vapes, without trying to push me into getting anything more expensive. What I got was not expensive at all, about $10 for the battery and about $5 for the tank, plus $3 for a charger. And they give a 10% discount to first-time customers. They have a rack of tanks with samples of the e-juices they carry, and you can get a disposable rubber tip and try the samples all you want. I think I tried almost every sample they had, there was no rush. I was very surprised to find such a awesome vape shop close by. I wanted to get a vape mod since the one I ordered online was taking way too long and I wanted to kick smoking cigs already. I went to 2 so called vape shops prior to Good Guy Vapes and they had bootleg no name, overpriced crap. Good Guy Vapes had everything I needed and their prices were better then online websites! Great selection with great service. Have bought all my vape needs from here and have had great help in selection. I had help trying and choosing mods, tanks, and droppers. Definitely recommend trying them out. They also help create different builds and replace the builds for free when needed. The great things are the prices on the juices. And vaping is awesome. The bad things about the things that are hard to see. I have been going to this place when it first opened and I usually go in and out since I know what I'm doing. But if you have been coming here as long as I have been, you start to notice things here and there. I notice they are always trying to maximize the amount of money they make off of you. They will tell you that you won't need a more mature and expensive unit and that you need to first try this junior one first. Later, they sell you a medium unit and then a expensive unit so they end up with multiple sales. The cost on their accessories are at a premium - like how fast-food places break even on the burger but make a killing on the soda and the coffee. And, watch out how they pawn off old stuff on you. You'll see what I mean. I also notice that their friendly exterior seems sort of fake in a way. I mean everyone in retail has to pretend to be nice to the customers to a certain extent but here, they really make it seem like they are truly being honest and want to do the right thing. They pretend they want to be your friend and it's not real. It's the bait to get you to make you buy the stuff they want to get rid of. read more

Awesome people and great service. I am a hotel General Manager and sometimes a service snob. I walked in and all 3-4 employees were attentive and friendly. Even though they were assisting other customers I was acknowledged as I walked in. Very patient as I tried their different juices. Was looking for something new and possibly an every day go to. After choosing two, one was out of stock so they gave me their tester refill bottle which was slightly more than half full for free! Was blown away by the courtesy they extended. Prices are excellent with a great selection. I will go back to Good Guy Vapes from now on and will refer anyone who asks my front desk ( surprisingly we do get this question ) at the hotel. I am new to vaping and using it as a means of quiting cigarettes. So with a Good Guy Vapes close by I decided to check it out. Store is very clean and organize products are easy to find and are able to be viewed which makes browsing easy. Employee there was very friendly and helpful with answering questions. Infact everyone I delt with there is. Nice selection of ejuices and mods. They even have their own brand of ejuice. I havent tried them all yet but the four I've tried I've liked. They also have a points system that lets you gain points on purchases and varies other things you can do to earn points. Points can be used for some free merch or discounts on items. The best place to go for vapes/juice. Very helpful staff. They have a juice bar where you can (hygienically) try out almost all the flavors they have available. Great deal on their in house ejuice-buy four get one free. Very helpful and knowledgable, they know all the tricks of the trade. Vaping was very intimidating to me at first and I didn't know what to buy or expect after quitting smoking and wanting to make the switch- GGV 'held my hand' and explained everything I needed to know. Stopped by the location in Parsippany because I was in the area and I can't be more happy with my visit. I was greeted when I walked in and Dan C. hooked it up! I had a few questions about specific vapes I heard about and Dan C. along with his associates all took part in recommending the ideal vape for my needs. I suggest anyone visiting this store (experienced vapers or beginners) consider their feedback seriously because I went in thinking I knew which vape to go with and ended up leaving with something different (Orchid) that is literally perfect for me. I have gone into Good Guy Vapes a few times since I have moved nearby from California. The atmosphere is really nice and everyone is extremely relaxed and friendly. I was helped both times by a guy named James. He is the man. He helped me with two separate issues I was having with my set up. Yesterday I went in with a broken tank. Not only did this store have tank glass for sale (not all vape shops do) but James was glad to set up my whole vape. I liked this place when I first went in. I visit two locations Parsippany and Pompton Lakes. All the employees are very friendly and knowledgable . So The first e-cig I bought was an e leaf. Loved it...two weeks later it broke. Took it back to them . They said no refunds. I was pretty pissed because it wasn't cheap and the breakage was of no fault of mine. I bit the bullet and bought another one but a cheaper model.The Vision Spinner worked great..Three days later that one broke. Once again no fault of mine...Took it back to the store and once again, no refunds. So now I'm really pissed but being that I don't want to go back to smoking I buy yet another one. Same model and the guy was cool enough to give me 10% off. Which is really no big deal but at least he made an effort. Took that one home and within a week guess what happened.. Yea, You f-ing guessed it..it broke in the same way!!!WTF!!! knowing the policy I don't even bother going back to the store. I call the company directly at 973 321 8928. No answer not even a recording! I left a message to explain my situation but nobody called back. That was two days ago. So in conclusion I think that if a store is going to sell me something and they have a no refund no return policy then they must know they are selling me a piece of shit product. And with a name like Good Guy Vapes they certainly aren't good when it comes to replacing a defective product. Therefore I will never go back again and i definitely would not recommend. The online market is vast, diverse and cheap. However you don't get the same experience as a customer vs when you go to Good Guy Vapes. They have phenomenal prices, beating out many respectable online vendors, and have the best customer service. Never once have I been disappointed by an employee's recommendation here. When you ask them what's good or what is best, they don't point the most expensive mod or juice. They point you in the direction of what they personally believe is the best product and what they would use. Walk in and ask someone what's a good juice to be using, or what kind of setup is best for you and I promise you that you will be extremely satisfied.
