I chose him because there was some small brush and debris the other places wanted to nickel and dime be over, but he said that I shouldn't worry about cleaning it up and that they would throw it in the chipper. They also went out of their way to do the job on a Saturday for me. I was worried because there was a shed under one of the large oaks and worried it would be damaged, I guess silly me because they were able to remove all the trees and debris, and maneuver trucks, bobcats and a chipper around there with no harm. We were very nervous about the trees, and called a couple of tree services out to give us their opinion as to what trees needed to be removed. Both services recommended removing all of the trees as they were too close to the house and all had branches hanging over or endangering the home. We chose Orleans Co Tree Service because they are not landscapers that also do trees, they are a liscensed, insured, dedicated tree service with certified arborists. Their pricing was excellent, and the bid was total, any taxes, fees,etc, were included in the price. Additionally, they took away all the wood, cleaned up any limbs and leaves, and ground all of the stumps. They had 10 trees down, including 125' pine, a 59+ foot rotting maple, and the 4 dangerous to cut dead trees, stumps ground, and detritus cleaned up, in 5 hours. Amazing!

When they left, there wasn't a single leaf or twig in my yard. It was spotless. Amazing! 2. I spent a long time watching the work because it was fascinating. I was impressed with the way the teams worked. They were very efficient, and more importantly, very safe. They wore eye, ear, and face protection plus hard hats and bright vests. I never felt like they were doing anything risky or dangerous. They were working close to my house, dropping huge limbs, and I never worried they were going to damage the house. They really knew what they wee doing. 3. They really wanted to make sure I was happy every step of the way. I asked if I could keep the chipped wood and they dumped it exactly where I wanted it. But they went beyond that: they warned me that it would be a huge pile and made sure I really wanted that much, and they offered helpful advice on using this mulch, because it gets very hot very quickly and can damage sensitive plants if used right away. 4. The trees had lots of surface roots that werre a problem when mowing. They got rid of them all for me, even the ones that weren't adjacent to the trees, and told me they would come back if I found more roots. It can't be cheap to send out a guy with a truck hauling a stump grinder for a little root. Very impressive! Nice people, great job!
