We selected Truetimber because we liked the idea of arborists advising us rather than a generic tree service. I could not have asked for a better experience. James came out and walked the property with me. I told him we wanted to save as many trees as possible but were absolutely willing to take out anything that was sick or potentially dangerous. With that kind of latitude I assumed he would tell me 10 or so trees would probably need to come out. That was not the case. He said one old pin oak needed to go (we knew that, it has dropped major limbs several times.) He also pointed out four Red Tip Photinias that were dying (Again, we knew this.) Beyond this he didn't recommend any further removals but did note several trees in bad need of pruning for safety reasons. The quote came in about three days and was very reasonable. The work was scheduled for 8 weeks out. The crew showed up and was polite, professional, and thorough. They cleaned up everything and finished it all in a day. The stump of the pin oak was ground down 4 days later, ahead of schedule. The bill came in exactly at the estimate. A+++ Credit cards and debit cards accepted with a 3% fee attached.

Moreover, even though the trees were in my back yard, they left my property looking better overall than when they started, blowing leaves and tidying debris front and back. Of course, the equipment left track marks in the wet yard. That is to be expected. I sprinkled a bag of clover seed in the tracks which was all that was needed to address it. It looks lovely, and now there is clover for the pollinators. And, did I mention their price was significantly lower than other quotes? After I approved my estimate, ASP had to wait on my HOA which was slower than expected and Rob was very understanding and just said keep him informed, which I did. Day of removal, his crew was on time, super polite, and knew exactly what they were doing. Went super smooth! Rob and ASP might be the cheapest option in some cases or a little more in others. I am sure it depends on the job. But based off of this experience even if they are not the cheapest option I would go with them because I know it's going to be done right.
