While I did still end up purchasing the system for less than what other places were charging, the final total included an unexpected $25 tax and an additional credit card surcharge of around 3%. Altogether, I paid close to $70 more than the price I was initially quoted. The product itself was fine, and the base price was still competitive compared to other shops, but I don't appreciate being given one number over the phone and another in person--especially after making a long drive based on that information. It had a small loop in the stringing that needed to be tightened. They reached out a week later and told me it could not be fixed, come get it. When I returned it was in a pile - see picture. There was no offer to pay to reassemble it, just "here's your bracelet" although now it is just a pile of junk. Second, the woman at the front desk was a mean, snarling, uptight and obviously not very bright spokesperson for the store. She immediately told me it was not their fault, that it fell apart "as soon as they took it out of the bag" and I have no recourse. This woman needs to find a new job. Put her in a back room where she has zero customer interaction or under the bridge from whence she came. It's alright bitter, unhappy, unhealthy shopkeeper, I'll make sure the news of your attitude and customer service finds a much larger audience. Maybe you'll learn the lesson that if you don't treat the customer correctly, it will have consequences.
