Important to read the fine print folks! Anyway, upon my arrival I was greeted kindly by everyone there and not just me, but my dog too! (They even had dog treats!) After speaking with Christa (so sweet!) about my mixup and knowing I was only in town for a few more days, she was so kind and so helpful and still offered to fix my watch battery for free! What a wonderful experience all around! Not to mention, their selection of jewelry was excellent! I highly recommend anyone looking, to go and explore the options here. This is mid December 2022. I submitted a description and pictures of my watch to Hodinkee either…read moreas a trade in or cash outright. Because they are getting more watches than they sell I got an offer of a gift card towards the purchase of one of their watches in their inventory. I reached out to 4 watch dealers and Hodinkee's was by far the most generous. I had an eye on a Rolex Datejust 41 so I accepted their trade in offer. I sent in my watch to them and read the reviews after the fact. Boy was I horrified and worried. Winds up I didn't have to worry at all. They received my watch and my final offer was the same as their initial offer - nothing subtracted. I accepted the offer and sent in my trade. It arrived overnight and I got my final offer the day after. I then bought my new Rolex which they held for me. They assured me they would not sell it out from under me during the trade in process. I made an error in my purchase order but they rectified it for me. Emails were promptly answered. Associates were very courteous and professional. Getting a live person is another thing. Often times, you are told to hold and after awhile you are dropped into voicemail. The secret to getting a live person is call on a Tuesday or Thursday just when they open. They are slammed on Mondays and Fridays. Anyway, pictured is my new watch which was overnighted to me. I'm delighted. It was described as "in general excellent condition." It looked even better - more like "used unworn" imo. So shiny! Spot on accurate too. An outright sell to them for cash is another thing. I sold them a couple watches beginning of this year and they were slow to pay. I'm not subtracting a star because this present deal was so good. Below is my new watch. However, the patek store is not listed separately here on Yelp I scheduled a service appointment ahead of time prior to arriving at the store because that was required even for a battery change. Leading up to my visit I did call the store to ensure turnaround times as well as cost. Upon arriving at the store, I must say it is absolutely beautiful with obviously only display watches. And the gentleman who helped me branyon was super nice and friendly and helpful. In fact, he even beat the turnaround time that was quoted to me over the phone by the store earlier in the week. He even went above and beyond by offering to show me watches, even though I had not made a separate sales appointment. That was very kind and very tempting of him. I must say unfortunately this trip was not for shopping. It was for a family celebration. I will say if I do ever have to get my watch serviced again I will definitely come back here. Flying to Atlanta from Chicago is barely 2 hours and not expensive at all. And getting to this location is super easy right outside of the city. I wish I had more time during this visit. Otherwise I would have gone into the Brown and Company store, which is right across from the Patek store. Perhaps on my next visit I will and maybe the people who work there will be just as kind and gracious as the staff were here

Well not only did she listen to the stories about my mom, and helped me asses the value of the ring and gold she had but she helped me design an amazingly beautiful pendant to remember my mom using her engagement ring and we talked about what her life meant to me. I ended up with a compass pendant since mom was my guide and I became hers later in life. Laura even suggested using her diamonds to face east to west for her sunrise and sunset. With a special inscription on the back. I am in awe of the work they do at Worthmore and I recommend them anyone who needs a special piece of jewelry commissioned or is just looking for someone to take you under their wing and talk wedding rings and jewelry to you. Laura is very informative she also helped us insure our precious pieces which came in handy when I lost the diamond from my wedding ring in a freak accident! The whole staff took the time to send me pictures of the items, answer my questions, and shipped everything wrapped so well my wife knew I didn't do it. Lee and his staff have taken great care of me and my family, so much so that I send anything that needs repair to him, LOL, as I did today.
