I ordered the Matcha Lemonade, which had a mixture of lemonade soda and a matcha flavor to it for $7.50. Given the price and the small portion cup, I felt like it was a bit underwhelming at best given the price, and I don't feel like I got my money's worth. However, given the experience, I would reccomend this coffee shop to tourists in the area! Just not great for the price.

The staff were nice and warm. Offered fresh brewed coffee and even brought it to my table one time. It's easy to ask questions when you know you have a friendly staff in front of you and interaction was pleasant. I ordered a Cinnamon bun and the guy offered to heat it up. Went well with my regular black coffee. On a different instance they even brought me another coffee from a fresh batch when they realized the one I just ordered was from an older one. That was really nice. I just realized it's nice to come here in the mornings as well. The walls are all glass so it lets a lot of ambient light from the outside in. It's refreshing to have sunlight on your face while having breakfast or when reading. I tried the bacon and egg sandwich and I know it was fresh because the egg yoke oozed out when I took a bite. I was pleasantly surprised. The bread tasted and smelled good. The bacon crisp. The veggie fresh and green. There's a lot more pastry options during the day. I posted it here. I love sitting on the full sized sofa when I'm lazy and just want to read a book. The ambient music is just right, not too loud, so friends can have a relaxed conversation without the music drowning their voices. It can be busy during late Saturday mornings so come early if you want to find a table and not planning to take your coffee to go. This is located in the nice Mahogany condos. There's plenty of free street parking. When you step out there's plenty of other shops to explore. They have the Marble Slab Creamery. Of course the Chairman's Steakhouse. There's a high end wine store, a bar, etc. Plenty of other service oriented shops and more. In the summer it's great because the Mahogany Beach Club is next door. Yes there's a beach and sand, in the middle of the neighbourhood. Awesome! A paved running trail is conveniently located around the beach. When the water is frozen I've seen people ice skating and playing hockey on the ice. It's in a really nice area and enjoyable!

I have stopped at many Tim Horton locations, and I tend to grab a hot sandwich at each. Usually, they are ... succulent, hot roast beef, melted cheese, soft ciabatta buns. This Tim Hortons - Seaton Crescent - served a cold ... well, I discarded the ciabatta buns as inedible. And the wait time between order and delivery for this sandwich was enormous. This is a hopping joint, busy busy busy on a Saturday morning, the food coming off that line should have been fresh, hot and delicious. And it was not. Great location, Nice, new building, disorganized staff, mediocre food. Sorry Tim, this location - Seaton Crescent - gets two stars.

I've always thought the staff are not that warm or friendly, no small talk, unlike in other stores I've been to. But after coming for a while I realize that the staff are nice, it's just that they are BUSY! They said it's the busiest store in western Canada. So it's understandable. There's often a line in the morning. Tables are full. In the afternoon it dies down. But they seem to manage to keep the place clean. What else can I say, I'm simple and just like my tall Pike so they can't screw that up, or can they? Lol! I get occasional refills (yes we can get free refills of coffee at any Starbucks) and sometimes I order a pumpkin scone. I was going back and forth with 4 or 5 stars. I typically reserve the last star for warm interaction with staff. They do talk when they have a chance. Talked to one barista briefly last night. Considering the location and amount of traffic, this store deserves 5 stars!
