Above and beyond. Kind, soo friendly, patient.. and takes the time for YOU!! If you have to wait a bit, it's worth it.. and is only because of the amazing, personal customer service they provide! This is our haul from today!! So my husband went back to get him another one () & they were soo kind about it.. another above & beyond. What an amazing experience all around.. we will be back for sure!! The spiced brown sugar taste I think is what threw it off. The service staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The ambiance is definitely nice -- it's the kind of place you'd want to sit in, study at, or hang out for a while. But once you actually get to the food and drinks, it's a different story. The service was okay. Everyone was friendly, but it took way too long for my order to come out -- especially considering all I got was avocado toast. And when it finally arrived, it was the blandest avocado toast I've ever had in my life. Zero flavor, no seasoning, nothing special about it at all. Their matcha was honestly bad, just not good at all. The boba was probably the best thing I had, and their coffee was just alright -- nothing worth going out of your way for. Overall, TAP Café feels way overhyped. The vibe is cool, the space is cute, but the food and drinks just don't live up to the aesthetic. If you're going for Instagram pictures or a chill place to sit, it works. If you're going for flavor or quality, it's disappointing.

Unfortunately, due to the historic nature of the building, the upstairs seating area is only accessible by stairs. Quaint, charming café that serves lunchtime treats, coffee, and pastries. The hot cocoa is divine! I really like the literary/"dark academia" vibes and decor, as well as the many cute birdie knick-knacks roosting about the space. Service was friendly and unrushed, I felt free to linger and enjoy at my leisure. I will make it a point to stop in here whenever I pass through Port Huron! I dropped in during the week and there was zero-wait for a table, although I imagine the place probably bustles on weekends!

It's a cute place with a cool theme and is likely great for neighborhood folks who have their regular orders and stop in since it's close. Cons: I felt the place could have used a detailed cleaning. They brought out my friend's salad with *completely brown/gray avocado* on it. And when I say completely gray, I mean completely. Why it left the kitchen and made it to the table is a mystery. We addressed it with the server. Server was nice, but seemed perhaps not as informed about details of menu and drinks. I ordered the peanut butter mocha, but tasted no PB at all. I drank it all - it wasn't that big of a deal, but I agree with other reviews; iced coffee drinks are a touch weak. Pros: Staff was friendly. Cozy atmosphere. Nice size menu. Rest of what we all ordered was good.

The area was really quiet and didn't have many people out and about, but it was also the last weekend of October and this area seems like it would be bustling during summertime since it's on the lake. We each ordered a different wrap (my husband got the chicken/bacon/ranch and I got the salmon blt) and we were incredibly surprised by the quality of food. They were great portion sizes, cooked to order/incredibly fresh, and had large chunks of protein vs deli cut style meats we had kinda thought they might be. The fries were SO crispy and seasoned nicely. The staff working that day were super friendly and came to check on us often to make sure we had plenty of water and napkins. The tables are already well-stocked with condiments, so we never needed to ask for anything, which was great. I also ordered a witches brew wine slushy and it was such a treat. They had 3 Halloween inspired flavors to choose from, but the neon green was calling my name. The inside is pet friendly and has a bulk-bin dog treat station to get your pups some treats, as well as a dog menu for them to have a snack while you eat. They sell dog toys, collars, leashes, and other merch inside, too. Outside is a big patio/dog park area for the dogs to play. Such an adorable spot- I would love to come back with both of our dogs during the summer to experience the peak season.

We weren't sure since it says pet cafe as well. We had the blackened salmon wrap and fish sandwich. They were both enjoyable, and both orders came with fries. I tried their lavender milk tea boba (not spiked) pricey for $8 if you opt to spike it it's $12. I thought the milk tea was odd, it had some minty flavor to it like Vicks! :/ They also have cocktails, wines and beers and even slushies.
