My wife and I were selling our home, and we had three buyers from hell. Raquel helped keep us sane…read moreduring the process. Raquel had boatloads of showings lined up from the get-go. We were under contract within a week. However, after the inspection the buyer wanted us to replace the entire roof unnecessarily. We said no, and the buyer walked. Raquel was all over it: within an hour she had two new showings scheduled for that afternoon, which helped my wife and I keep our mind off the fact that we were back to square one. That evening we were under contract again with a new buyer. Buyer two also ended up being flaky, for no reason. She seemed to get buyer's remorse, and Raquel was great at handling the negotiations. The buyer ended up walking over minor things, which even caused her agent to need to drop her as a client. It was nuts. How did we get such awful buyers? We had a third buyer within another week. Everything went smoothly, inspection was fine. The only major thing they requested was that we replace the back door (which didn't need replacing, but hey, fine). Well guess what: when it came time for the buyer to close, THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP TO CLOSING. Their agent scrambled to try to get in touch with them, and when they finally picked up the phone they said they weren't happy with the work done on the back door, that they wanted to bring in new contractors and rip up the floors and look at the surrounding area. It was nuts. Raquel did a fantastic job of putting her foot down for us, insisting that we had done everything they had asked and that they were being unreasonable. Finally they showed up and signed the papers. Selling our home was one of the most stressful events of our lives, and Raquel made the entire process far smoother than it otherwise would have been. Without her there to keep us calm and explain everything we probably would have burned our house to the ground in frustration! We highly recommend her as a listing agent for anyone selling their home.

She walked us through the full design process, offered multiple options that would work well in our backyard, and made us feel confident moving forward. Once we settled on the project, she submitted everything and let us know the construction team would take it from there. Unfortunately, that's when things started to fall apart. Aegean Pools has some of the worst communication I've experienced with a company. We were promised daily updates on construction progress from Ron, but after the pool was dug, communication nearly stopped. I had to repeatedly reach out just to find out what work was being done. Contractors would often show up without any warning, leaving us with no idea who they were or what they were there to do. At the same time, the company was very quick to request payments, but extremely slow to respond when issues or concerns were raised during the process. Also, the few interactions I had over the phone with Samantha made me question the overall professionalism of the company. Given the significant cost of this project, expectations for quality of the finishing details were high, and unfortunately, those expectations were not met. When problems were pointed out, the fixes felt rushed and minimal, done only enough to make things look "good enough" rather than properly completed. Even after a second attempt to fix issues, the work was still lacking, leaving me to spend my own time fixing mistakes that should have been addressed correctly from the start. To top it all off, after speaking with Terry, the customer service representative for project completion, and voicing our concerns about the overall experience, he openly admitted that the biggest complaint among customers is the terrible communication. Pool process completed and while we're happy to finally be finished with the project, we're relieved that this experience is behind us. Looking back, I wish I had dug deeper into the reviews beforehand. After reading more recent feedback on other sites, especially from the past year, it's clear that the issues we experienced are common among other customers. Overall, what began as a promising and professional experience turned into a frustrating and disappointing one due to poor communication, lack of attention to detail, and insufficient follow-through.
