Friendly service and hard to find West Indian groceries. The menu is limited, HOWEVER, this is as AUTHENTIC Jamaican food that you will find in a restaurant. It's not a fancy place, by far. It is located in a strip mall on a country road. It's not particularly decorated, and I didn't notice a space for dining in. All that said, we will visit this spot each time we're in town visiting friends. They serve the best rice and peas I've ever had....and I don't like rice! read more

Go in and grab a Red Stripe from the cooler. I really wanted to love this place after reading the reviews and was looking so forward to trying their food. I ordered three meals to take home. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. The curry goat was mostly bones with barely any meat on them, the brown stew chicken was oxtails and I do not like oxtail at all. The jerk chicken was decent with a smokey flavor. Every dish came with rice and peas and cabbage which were pretty good. Each dish had bones that were smaller than a grain of rice so it made it difficult to see them and to enjoy what we did eat having to spit bones every few minutes. I probably won't go back and it's a shame because I love Jamaican food. Honestly I make better jerk chicken and coconut rice at home. read more

There are all kinds of foods, produce, snacks and drinks from the West Indies. In the back, there's an area to get hot foods. They have a different soup each day like, fish, goat, or chicken. Lunch specials run from about 11-2:30 and come with a meat, rice & peas or white rice, and steamed cabbage for about $5.00. The food has always tasted great. They have patties, ackee and salt fish in the mornings and desserts like rum cake. It might be best to call ahead if you want something in particular as they can run out or just not make it that day. My roommate in college down in Miami was a Caribbean dude and he'd always make me platanos or however the Kreole word is. This place has the EXACT same flavour. I mean darn good and burning hot when you ask. They'll get the rice exactly right - I mean PERFECT and the beans. But once you finish those you start smelling that jerk seasoning and its almost rude not to order that too :) Every time I run in for a good meal to fill my soul these guys get me catching feelings haha I love getting to eat here and I love that Caribbean spirit that fills the whole place. Been there twice now, and have ordered, and thoroughly enjoyed three different meals. The ackhee/ saltfish, boiled green bananas, yam and dumpling were perfect. I returned today and ordered jerk chicken, oxtail with rice and peas and steamed vegetables. Equally amazing. These were all meals cooked with attention to detail! My ONLY complaint is one of location. Despite the fact that the store/ restaurant is located on the side of a medical building- there was no apparent SIGN to indicate they were there. Initially I called and spoke to the proprietor, a pleasant lady, who talked me through on where they were, as Lee County Sheriff Dept., who is based directly across the street was planning some operation, and were blocking much of the entrance, to say nothing of the fact that I passed the proprietor as she came out to her suburban while I was on foot looking for a sign of the restaurant. Today, that wasn't an issue, but I still didn't see a sign. .....Good 2 Go, let the world know you're there, and they will come! read more

I wanted to try some carribean food for the first time and stopped by Good 2 Go. I was a little confused finding it because the name isn't on the door, but it is on the plaza sign. Go to the side of the building and look for the art work on the wall. I was thrown off when I walked in because it is a grocery store, but they sell hot food and have a few tables if you want to sit and eat. I got a beef patty and is was tasty. It put me in the mind of refried beans inside a hot pocket and deep fried. It had been sitting under a lamp so I think it would taste even better fresh. Not to many places for tasty yellow curry. It's very pleasurable besides the tiny chicken bones. Eat with caution

We have a hard time finding good food places so this was our first time ordering from this restaurant and I must say, they have a forever customer. The food was really good, my mother and I got oxtail with rice and cabbage. What I'm most impressed with is Laverne, not sure if she's the owner or just the receptionist but she was extremely pleasant over the phone. I'm pregnant so I specifically asked for white rice and extra gravy and when my mother went to pick up the order Laverne made sure to check my container, remembered exactly what I wanted and went back to the kitchen to have them fix it without having to be told to do so. Usually most Caribbean food places have really rude people that work there so I was already on guard when I first called but within seconds my guard dropped. She was very patient and understanding, with a kind and gentle voice. We will certainly make the commute from Cape Coral to continue to give you our business. Thank you so much ! read more

Tried this restaurant last night with my wife and we'll definitely be coming back! Food was excellent, and the people who served us were super friendly. We had been craving good Caribbean food for a while, and Good2Go hit the spot. We had the Curry Goat and Curry Chicken, and both dishes featured very generous portions, with a taste that was super fresh and perfectly spiced. read more
