It's not just my own expectations which I feel aren't too high but everyone else's too. Today I had a conversation with a sweet Haitian couple who left shortly after I was told there are no sweet plantains, which for ANY meal coming from a Jamaican restaurant is a necessity. Their quality of food is slowly declining and the amount they give is the result of cutting corners and the economy having issues.
