I'm not sure why he lost his temper with me. I was stoked to get a better price than everywhere else, but after talking to him, he told me it's not a good fit for him. Just came off as a flake. Or young and not able to deal with stress! Oh well, buddy, good luck to you. Try to tame that wild streak in your nerves. It will ultimately benefit you in the end, sir. !!!This is an update to his behavior!!! This guy called me to bug me after he saw the review I left, to harass me about how a bad review could ruin his business. I would love to give a good one, but you earned thi,s buddy. Don't call people to bug me about their reviews, and you won't get told how things work! I don't care about your problems; you can edit your response all you want to paint me as the bad guy, but you are ultimately responsible for your own actions. Stop harassing me! Have a nice life sir. And think twice before messing with people you don't know anything about. Some of us won't react the way you want! Pick your battles a bit more wisely next time! If you call me again, I'm going to report you to the police for harassment! I don't have time for this nonsense! UPDATE 7/30/2025 THIS DUDE IS UNHENGED AND WONT STOP UPDATING HIS RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW. DUDE, LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU WERE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL, AND THAT'S WHERE IT ENDED. GET SOME HELP BRO! AGINE! If you're unhappy with the "REVIEW" of your business conduct, consider thinking before speaking! AND LEAVE ME ALONE. I can keep responding with updates as well. BTW, Yelp lets me know how many times you update a response. And it told me you updated your response 5 times, meaning you really want me to keep this up. You could have said sorry, we can't work together, and moved on, but you called me to run your mouth and be a rude @#$%, and you flipped out!. If you have a problem with my honest response to your conduct, then say that to Yelp. The only problem is that Yelp is for the people, not for you! It's for us to hold you guys accountable when you act like this! If you apologized, I would let it go. but. Till then, I will leave this up! So have a good day, sir!

I felt like they listened to my needs and created an appropriate solution. Theirs was the only company to recommend using an air drain system to better manage the lingering snows and the daily use by my dog. I obtained 5 quotes in all, and RockSolid was the most thorough and competitively priced. Jorge and his crew of installers were professional and respectful. Because I have a second floor condo, they had to go through my unit multiple times to haul up materials and access the deck space. They shut doors and made sure my dog didn't get out. And they worked steadily and efficiently, completing the project in one day. It was evident they knew what they were doing and did it well. Cleanup was excellent with no trash left behind. I love my new turf and can't wait to add furniture, shade structures and container plantings. I'd highly recommend RockSolid for your turf needs.

Vincent was helpful in providing design and turf suggestions and left me a few samples to check out. They provided me with the most affordable quote and were able to get me on their schedule quickly. The team that came for the install, led by Raoul, were professional and respectful. They communicated the processes and treated my property and home with respect. And of course- the results! I am so happy with my newly turfed backyard! They did an excellent and thorough job and I am excited to enjoy this spring and summer without having to maintain a lawn :)

I'm writing this to protect others from making the same $18,000+ mistake I did…read more After two years with ProGreen's Natural Supreme Turf and its supposedly superior ProFlow backing, my yard is unusable, my money is gone, and ProGreen has done nothing but waste my time with broken promises and revolving-door representatives who never are around long enough to see anything through. I'll give ProGreen this: the turf looks genuinely great, and I regularly get compliments on it. That's exactly why I chose it. The other reason I chose ProGreen specifically was their assurance that it was an excellent option for dog owners. On both counts, the reality has not lived up to the promise. The single biggest failure is the odor from dog urine. On any warm day above 70°F, my front and back yards smell like a sewer. And you don't need to own a dog for this to happen! If your turf is anywhere near a sidewalk, which most front yards are, dogs walking by will urinate on it. That's all it takes. The ProFlow backing was sold to us as a premium drainage solution, but it doesn't drain at all. Urine pools and runs to the edges, then bakes in the sun. I cannot use my own yard, and visitors notice the smell from the porch. ProGreen has been attempting to resolve this for over 2 years. The VP of Operations, Logan, came out, smelled the turf firsthand, acknowledged the problem, and admitted there had been a manufacturing defect. This led to the turf being replaced with one they claimed would drain better, but it didn't help. The smell returned immediately, worse than ever, even on cool, cloudy days. That's not a repair; that's confirmation that the product is fundamentally defective. I'm now on my seventh primary contact at ProGreen in two years, because the previous reps were all fired or quit. Missed appointments, unfulfilled commitments, and zero continuity mean that every time I get close to a resolution, I have a new rep who knows nothing about my case. At this point, it seems intentional to avoid warranty work or to give me my money back for a failed product. They've since stopped responding to my emails asking when they will be coming out to address the acknowledged warranty repairs needed to hide the seams after the turf replacement. This product was marketed as a premium turf and was pet-friendly. Two years and multiple failed repair attempts later, I can say without any hesitation: it is neither. I asked for a full refund, and they stopped responding. If you want to install turf anywhere where a dog could pee on the turf and value being able to enjoy your own yard, stay far away from ProGreen!

A Cautionary Review of Land Designs by Colton Our Experience…read moreand Lessons Learned Initially, our experience with Land Designs by Colton seemed promising. The project kicked off smoothly, and we had high expectations based on their assurances and professionalism during the early stages. However, as the work progressed, significant issues began to arise, tarnishing our trust and satisfaction with the company. And then they ghosted us. The Tree Planting Disaster One of the first major problems we encountered was with the landscaping aspect--specifically the planting of trees. Out of the nine trees planted, six died within a relatively short time frame. We had been informed that these trees were under warranty for a year, which gave us some initial reassurance. Unfortunately, when we sought replacements for the dead trees under this warranty, the company did not honor their commitment. This was deeply frustrating and marked the beginning of a series of disappointments in dealing with Land Designs by Colton. Contract Issues Another frustration arose when we attempted to obtain a copy of our contract. We had initially accessed the agreement through Google Docs, but it was mysteriously deleted. When we reached out to Land Designs by Colton for a copy, they claimed they could no longer provide it due to changes in their system following an update. This lack of accountability and transparency added to our growing unease with the company. The Deck Extension Debacle The most costly and distressing issue was related to a deck extension they built for us. After the work was completed, we discovered that the extension had not been permitted--they assured us that this was not necessary. As we began the process of obtaining necessary permits, we learned that the construction itself was not done to code. Specific deficiencies included: * Footings that were not deep enough * Railing spindles with uneven spacing * Stairs that failed to meet code requirements These violations have forced us to reconstruct the deck to meet code standards, incurring additional expenses totaling thousands of dollars. In essence, the deck project has doubled in cost due to their negligence. This has been an incredibly stressful ordeal, both financially and emotionally. Conclusion Our experience with Land Designs by Colton has been nothing short of disastrous. What began as a promising relationship quickly deteriorated due to unfulfilled warranties, lack of transparency regarding contracts, and substandard construction practices that led to code violations. We hope our story serves as a warning to others considering working with this company. Proceed with caution and ensure that every aspect of the contract and work is meticulously monitored to avoid similar hardships. Beware of Land Designs by Colton. What seems fine at the start may end up costing you dearly in the end.

Jonathan is among the most unprofessional vendors I have ever come across…read more For background: I hired him to work on my front lawn, and warned him I'd need him to be flexible as I was also getting a fence installed. I paid him half up front and he did some work. When I needed him to return to finish the lawn after the fence was installed, he strung me along on a finish date for months. I tried to press him to finish the job, and he got nasty. I'd often get trapped in circular conversations with his assistant, who hides behind legalese language, while Jonathan's correspondence was filled with condescension, personal attacks, and threats. (As an example: See below his assistant's response as evidence of the kind of legal speak they use, and how they twist it around in their favor. Pegging blame on the customer without accepting responsibility for their own awful service.) And they're thugs. I had to file a police report after he and his workers broke into our backyard _and garage_ to reclaim what he says are his materials. Some $10 pipes. This is something they'll point to in the contract as a thing he has a right to do. Upon terminating his contract for stringing me along, severe unprofessional behavior, and even violating our safety and security, he charged a termination fee. This would be laughable if it weren't so vindictive. Despite it all, I did pay him whatever ridiculous invoice he'd excuse with his contract in order to get rid of all the vitriol he was turning my way. So... Be wary of his, and his assistant's, predatory contract which they rely on to get away with crappy service. You'll know he deems your project to not be lucrative for him, when he gives you side comments about him "doing you a favor." He lacks follow through to complete a job unless it's on his terms, and he lacks professionalism in dealing with client requests. He gets nasty and personal if you get on his bad side. He loves to tout his educational background, as if to reassure you he's somehow different or that you'd be getting excellent service. Don't fall for it. There are plenty of other contractors in the Denver area who do amazing work in a timely fashion without all the drama. Save yourselves the headache.
