I also volunteered to take half of the loss, but they also refused it. The lady named Samanta handling this issue stated that "taste is subjective and varies greatly from person to person, we are unable to guarantee individual flavor expectations once the product has been delivered". Blah, blah...a sour orange is sour and it's not subjective. She also suggested that I should give away the sour oranges to neighbors and friends!!! I buy watermelons more on the round side as opposed to oblong, I look for no green but brown where the stem was, I look for a lot of those brown "scratchy areas" (I don't know what they're called), I look for a deep yellow or amber color where it was sitting on the ground and try to find some that has this hard black stuff coming out of it which is actually sugary liquid that is dried up. If I can find a watermelon with all, if not most of these that I am more likely to get a really good watermelon. There's nothing better than a cold sweet watermelon!
