I must say that customer service was great. Mr Juan is very welcoming as you arrive and he gives samples of fruit which is very good, sweet. Mexican souvenirs, pots, decorations for your yard, sodas. You find this type of places in different spots in this highway. Later on I saw a place a few dollars cheaper on the Mango case for example. We will try other place next time to check the prices. read more

Very nice gentleman runs the roadside stop and there is all kinds of last stop souvenirs and fruit before you leave the valley. I have stopped here twice so far to get some oranges and lemons. The prices are reasonable and the fruit is great tasting. read more

When my parents travel to San Antonio, they make a mandatory pit stop at Juan's Fruit Stand. The folks there are eager to sell their harvest by providing samples of top notch, fresh fruit. My family adores the pineapple oranges, providing a perfect amount of sweetness and juiciness! The stand also has avocados, local honey, snacks, and other knick knacks for sale. They also have Loteria playing cards, haha. When we're low on local honey, we always get a jar from here as we like getting the bonus chunk of honeycomb. Friendly group of people, delicious fruits. Our favorite fruit stand to stop off at on the way back home to Dallas. We come yearly to the area and it's an easy exit off the highway. The guy is always friendly and offers samples so you can decide which fruit you want. The oranges are always sweet and delicious. We tried a pineapple orange and navel orange. Both were sweet and both very delicious. We bought a bag of each along with some grapefruit for a friend. They sell other items like pottery, yard art and ceramic parrots. read more

We stopped there on Oct 29 the daughter was a great sales person she offered my husband and I samples they were delicious but we left a our bag of pineapple oranges on the floor in front of counter I didn't realize it until we got back to San Antonio :(. I'm hoping my brother in law can stop by and get them but don't know yet if he already left Harlingen and I have been calling the listed number and no one answers:( I'm sad because I still taste the delicious fruit !!!!! read more
