My initial hearing was an absolute disaster and I was extremely upset as I had previous written. Mr. Latours office filed an appeal and I did not expect anything different to give me any kind of hope. My appeal was only today so there is no decision and I have no idea if I will get it or not. However, this time I was represented by a wonderful attorney named Mr. Mike Tunnel who really took the time to look at my case, understood exactly what my limitations were when it came to the workforce and he did an excellent job of explaining this to the court. He consulted with me beforehand to make sure I would be okay and that extra step made a lot of difference in the confidence that I felt explaining myself as well in regards to my limitations to the ALJ. And regardless of the decision I at least feel that I had a fair hearing and all the relevant facts were heard in order to allow the ALJ to have the correct information to make a decision that she feels is appropriate.
